  1. For the first week out !!! Do u weight ur self everyday!! For me I did it because it was so exciting for me to see the scale moving every day but after the first week it stoped to move for 3days now !! What I did wrong or should I stop measuring my self everyday???

Like you, I was so excited I was finally losing and weighed myself everyday(multiple times). Im 6 weeks out and still experience short stalls. The one benefit I found from weighing myself daily was evaluating what I ate or how many calories when I broke my stalls. I still weigh myself almost every morning when I first wake. I'm trying to get myself to checking my weight weekly but I'm kinda obsessed.

  2. Had my sleeve done on August 29th so happy I can eat Now! I have lost 20lbs and I'm so happy, but I feel like maybe I'm eating to much or not enough sometimes.. My Dr. Does not have me counting calories yet, he is just wanting me to make sure I eat a lot of Protein.< br>I know everyone's diet is different, but it still leaves me with concern. What are you eating?
How is your weight loss going? Now my pre-op weight was 244 and didn't loose any weight before surgery, so I'm was thinking I should of lost more by now... what do you think?

I was sleeved on 8/10 and have lost 20 since surgery also. Had a couple of stalls here and there but stuck to the meal plan. I found it easier to focus on the percentage of weight I lost towards my goal(vs. total lbs) and it helped me alot. In our shoes any weight loss is good. Just try your hardest to hit your protein and Water goals!

  3. I dont think you will know for sure until you start losing more weight. Not sure how much race factors in. Its probably more about how much you lose and how much smaller you get. What is your goal(total # of pounds)?

  4. My stats might sound disappointing, because most people want to lose quickly.

My only double digit month was the first one. After that, I lost about 6 pounds a month. So, less than 2 pounds a week.

But that didn't stop me from shedding 126 pounds, or from keeping it off. So, no matter the rate, stick with it. There will be stops, starts and stalls. Long term maintenance is the real goal.

    Good luck!

  5. You here about people who are very slim and because they are very slim they are always finding it hard to retain heat and are freezing.

Well . I am obese yet as the time goes on ( almost 3 months out) I am absolutely frozen cold, and its got worse the last 4 days, I mean I have my heating on high and everyones complaining its boiling hot so its just me feeling this cold. I am not sick or coming down with anything lol but just so uncomfertably cold lol what this about?!!

  6. I think you look great. At the end of the day you have to get to the weight that makes you HAPPY and HEALTHY because nobody knows exactly how your body feels but you when you are having issues caused by being overweight. Keep doing what you are doing. Hopefully your husband will realize how important it is for you to reach your goal. Good Luck!!!

  7. I am 5 weeks post op and starting to feel really good about myself again. I 24. As a young woman, I always had curves but they were all in the right places but about 10 yrs ago, it became harder and harder to loose weight and the old tricks(including diet pills) became less effective. About 4 yrs ago I was diagnosed with a begin pituitary tumor which caused my body to produce excess amounts of prolactin(hyperolactinemia). Essentially your body thinks your pregnant. Even though the condition became controlled with medicine. Losing weight remained an issue and I slowly creeped up from 185 to 214over 4 years and just couldnt get out of the 200s. Fast forward to today, I'm down 18 pounds post op and starting to notice results. I attended an anniversary party yesterday and was able to wear a medium. I bought the same dress earlier this summer but needed an extra large. And at the dinner and in general I'm able to skip past the rice, pasta and potatoes and make those healthy choices of baked chicken or fish and veggies and salads etc. And its not hard; it has become a way of life for me that I have been able to embrace. So excited about what my new weight lose journey will bring! I know it will take time but I really feel like I can do it 20170917_111636.jpg 20170917_163917.jpg

  8. LiciKitty when I saw my NUT for my 4 week follow up last week she said my min daily calories should be 800 and gave me the range of 800-1000. She also told me I will hit stalls if my calorie intake is too low and that i will need to make slight adjustments to my calories and Protein when exercising on a regular basis.
