I'm afraid to try almonds yet. My pouch is so small (according to what I can eat) that I'm afraid it's still pretty swollen. I've heard that nuts are one of the more difficult foods to process. But, I'll keep that in mind for later. Is there a brand of cheese crisps that you like?
Whisps cheese Snacks are great! I buy mine at Walmart, in the produce department by the salsa. They come in 3 flavors. One serving is 13g of Protein.< br>

Sleeved on 7/21/15 with Dr. Kole at Providence. In Fowlerville and looking for a support group that is closer than driving to Novi. Help
I'm in Gregory. I went to Barix in Ypsilanti. August 15th was my surgery date.

I am not quite this unhinged, but I will say that when I get my period or around that time, I am raging b***h. When I do get mad or sad or angry.. its worse than it was previous. I think it has a lot of do with hormones... Hopefully they will line back up for you, and you will get back to your normal self. Good luck!
I cried all day yesterday for no apparent reason. Today I'm fine. It's weird, for sure!

I'm 6 days post op, and my dietician said that Wendy's chili, puréed, was a favorite among patients. I'm not sure if I'll try that. I never had their chili beforehand.

I had my surgery on August 15th. Passing gas, hiccups twice. Some burps hurt!

Yes! I experienced a little phlegm. I hate using the spirometer, but I force myself to at least once during the day. I know we are supposed to do more.

I had 3 days like this. Things will get better. You will find foods you like. You will have better days. I’m a year post op, and I’ve discovered veggie pastas, cauliflower crust pizza, and I now really like refried Beans with cheese. Before, I wouldn’t touch refried beans.
