I'm sorry for all the issues you're having. I had no issues with my surgery and still felt buyers remorse. I mourned losing the comfort food gave. But 5 months out I have no regrets. 87lbs down and it has all been completely worth it. Hang in there, besides the medical issues you're having, your body is going through a lot of internal changes, on almost no calories. I know it doesn't make you feel any better, but you can get through this.

Actually that does make me feel a little better. Thank you

  2. I am 3 1/2 weeks post op and have been nothing but sick for the past week. I had an endoscopy done today and learned I had stricture (the hole between the pouch and the intestines is too small) and an ulcer where the sutures were. Has anyone else had this problem? They were able to open up the hole a little but will need to repeat it in 3 weeks. They gave me medicine for the ulcer and bumped me back down to a liquid diet. Quite honestly I'm having serious buyers remorse. All this pain and misery is hardly worth the lousy 15 pounds that I have lost. I'd rather be fat and be able to chew food and take a drink of something and not feel nauseous. Seriously wondering why I did this to myself.

  3. I am 10 days post-op and very discouraged about my weight loss. I weighed 318 before my pre-op diet. The day of surgery I weighed 305. I was thrilled about that. I came home from the hospital two days later and weighed 313! I realize that they pumped me full of fluids and that is why but it was rather depressing. Today I weighed myself and I'm 304. That's only 1 pound from my pre-surgery weight. It's just so discouraging. I've weighed this amount the last three days. I'm following my post-op diet to the letter. I'm getting in my Water. I'm trying to move and walk as much as I can. It's so discouraging to be doing everything the doctor says and not really seeing results.
