Can we all just combine the best parts of our diets and have popsicles tuna and veggies for two weeks~ I am so excited to see someone with the same surgery date/liquid diet as me!!!!!!! Super nervous here even though I've been a cool cucumber for the past 10 month journey. I love the idea of ice making a smoothie. I think it's really the texture I'm missing and having something to chew even if it is minuscule!!
My clear liquid diet is exactly like yours along with the schedule after surgery. I thought mine was a bit excessive too but I will follow the rules given to me to be successful. I'm envious of the people who 'only get one meal a day.' haha.

That is the same as my pre-op that I'm currently on - day 10 of 14. I couldn't find anything additional to eat(and I use that term lightly) but I did make a couple of modifications. I blended my Protein Drinks with ice and made milkshakes with made them a bit diluted and manageable. I also changed the flavors of my broths. I made 'french onion-less soup' and 'wonton-less soup' and then last night made a thai based broth with some lime and cilantro and a tad bit of curry paste.

How is it going? I'm more nervous about that then anything else.

I start my pre-diet the day after Easter. It's hard not to think of terms of 'I better eat this now while I can...'

I start my liquid diet on April 3rd. I will have Easter dinner as my last hoorah and then it's Jello, popsicles and broth along with three Protein Drinks for the day.

If you work out and use the sleeve as a tool I have seen many people lose way more than just 65%. I personally am 9 months post op VSG and am only 25 lbs from my drs goal of 150. I was 298.6 at my consult 4/11/16 sleeved 11/22/16 and now 175.

You are expected to become more active when you start losing weight. Those who do will eventually hit their goal weight. Those who don't, end up only losing the 65%.
I get it now!! Thanks for the clarification!

I keep reading the expected weight loss percentages per each of the different procedures. So if you are only expected to lose 65% of your excessive weight, what keeps you losing to lose to your goal or healthy weight. Wouldn't you be following the same eating plan from the time you start eating solid foods again? How do you get rid of the remaining 35%?

My surgery was the 17th and I was feeling the same. I'm day 5 post op and feeling pretty good. Just a bit of soreness. I do get tired quickly and have been taking an afternoon nap. I quit taking the pain killers because they were making me super tired all the time.
