Update your Profile for better Results?
I completely agree with the OP, and I am guilty of not knowing how to update my information using my iPad. I do not use the app. Do I need to?

Medical Weight loss req. 1st pre-op
I was simply told to eat high protein, low carbs, etc. to lose weight. Wow! At least you may lose very quickly.

Just curious -- Has Anyone Been Denied by Ins. for Losing Too Much Pre-Surgery?
I wondered about that, too, and almost thought about not losing any weight until I had my first surgeon visit. Lucky for me the surgeon used the weight I submitted on my form, and any weight loss I had was counted towards the weight I needed to lose before surgery.

Are you good at understanding insurance?
It sounds like you certainly qualify! No question about it! Please keep us informed about your insurance. For me, it was so difficult to not know if I was approved or not. ❤️

Are you good at understanding insurance?
I'll preface this by saying that I know nothing about insurance. I don't see anything about BMI, but it does say that the revision would be due to some sort of defect. Unless I'm reading incorrectly, you lost over 100 lbs., and there is no defect. Like I said, I know nothing. ? I do hope you get the surgery.

Notification that I have something in my cart?
Me, too, and it bugs me seeing it. THE SALES TACTIC IS NOT APPRECIATED! Also, my surgeon told me that they do not use the patch vitamins because too many people's blood work were coming back showing that they don't work.

Saying Hi!
I have had GERD for years, and have been on Nexium forever. My surgeon recommended the bypass. My gastroenterologist is ecstatic because drugs like Nexium etc. have recently been proven to be bad for you in other ways. Do a google search about them.

Help.
I am so sorry! I am pre op, and thought you were, too. Lol. I will have my bypass in December. Merry Christmas to me! ? I am so happy for you that you can eat red meat and potatoes. My favs!! ?

Help.
I have 8 lbs more to go to meet my required weight loss. I am NO expert. I try to steer away from red meat, and I don't eat ordinary cheese (cheddar cheese etc). I've been sticking with tuna, grilled chicken, turkey, cottage cheese, yogurt, egg whites, and lots of vetgetables. From what I understand, you should stay away from potatoes and breads and fats. Have you met with a dietician yet? I meet mine in about 10 days.

Fainting and Vomiting
No, but I did call a relative who is in the medical field. What I experienced happens to many people. I was told to lie on my back with my feet high above my head, and that helped tremendously with the fainting. All of this has to do with some very large nerve. It did all come back when I would go to the restroom. I am better now, but I promise you all that I will talk to my surgeon about it. If it's not completely gone by tomorrow, I will go to the ER. I cannot tell you how much your replies mean to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
