  1. Just out of Surgery on Monday August 7th! Couldn't keep anything down the first two days, now starting to be able to tolerate the liquids but feeling a little hungry. Its not difficult to stick to the diet considering my body wont allow me to do otherwise but its def a pain wondering when I'll be cleared for other foods!

I had Surgery on Monday August 7th as well, still not feeling 100%. I can start a full liquid diet tomorrow and follow up appt on the 14th hoping to get moved to a puree diet. At my doctors office you could purchase protein powders for your clear liquid phase to mix with water. I haven't been able to tolerate them. Hopefully today will be the day.

  2. Had my surgery on 8/8. Had a bit of nausea. Started fluids the following afternoon and went home a few hrs later.  Trying to get even sips down hurts the center of my chest. It's getting a little bit better each day.  The weight loss is 8 pre-op and 13 post. Besides g2, water, sugar free ice pops and broth are there any other liquid options?

Propel flavored water, I got the ABC vegetable soup and drained the broth to have some different flavoring. Tomorrow I start a full liquid diet, I am so excited to have coffee for the first time!!

I had surgery on 8/7/2017 currently in the clear liquid phase but advance to full liquid tomorrow. I am finding it difficult to even get down the 64 oz of water a day. I set a goal for today to drink at least 2 protein drinks, yesterday I wasn't able to finish one. I think I need to pace myself more. I am used to going long periods of time without eating and then eating a larger meal, same with fluid consumption. I see you are doing great with your weight loss!! Good Job
