so I was denied they said some of my NUT notes were missing and my mental health notes were missing... ALLLLL BS but my surgeons office resent everything all over again so another 7-10 business days

nothing yet lol.... BUT I have done liquid diets, cleanses and herbalife in the past so I know ill do fine with NOT EATING SOLID food... I start my pre-op Oct 3rd my surgeon office is actually gonna supply me with a few products....

so true but they don't have a problem deducting my payments every 2 weeks from my paycheck...... they have until the end of the week to let me know something lol.. Friday will make 11 calendar days

I called again today its still in review.... im gonna call back later lol and tomorrow if I don't get an answer today ... the rep said I should hear something because it should of only taken 3-5 days

hello... im waiting for approval too I have Cigna and my surgeon's office submitted all my paperwork last Tuesday 8/15/17 .. I have called them everyday since then lol... actually about to called them in a few minutes .. I got that standard letter that they send out after they get the pre-cert request..... right about now I need some good news this has been an emotional past 2 weeks for me....

when is your surgery date? yeah I done a lot of research on the surgery my mom was suppose to get it 2 years ago but she had sleep apnea really bad and never went through with it.. I have about 7 friends who has had the sleeve done

hope so... I have my date (oct 19th).. I've already gave both my jobs notice and im just ready for a lifestyle change

well I called again and they said they have received all my clinical information and it's still being reviewed and that it takes 5-7 days from date it was submitted and being that it was submitted last Tuesday, day 5 is tomorrow and they will be receiving another phone called from me tomorrow.....

yes im so anxious .. I did 6 months because my secondary insurance required it just to find out last month the secondary insurance dropped me because my son turned 18 in may and my "income" was too much ... Cigna has waaayyyyy more documentation than they required due to the fact I had to do 6 months instead of 4 months... I hate insurance companies they waste no time deducting the money from my paycheck every 2 weeks but make you wait for approval....

surgeon's office called me today its still pending ... but im gonna called cigna again myself.....

I DONE CALLED CIGNA EVERYDAY SINCE MY PAPERWORK WAS SUBMITTED TO THEM ON 8/15/17... I'M STARTED TO FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE CALLER ID LOL..... HOW LONG DOES IT USUALLY TAKE FOR APPROVAL ?

called insurance again today now they are saying call back at the end of next week....

just contacted Cigna they received my paperwork on 8/15/17 its under review lady told me the turn around time was 5-7 days ... SUPA ANXIOUS

my surgeon office is great I asked for them to extend my leave too so I just have to give the extra dates to my job

I plan on taking a short term disability from my fulltime job they pay me up to 5wks @ 100% pay and anything after up until 20wks @ 50% pay... I took 6wks off from my partime job because I do heavy lifting at times....

I can honestly say I was cool up until this point.. I didn't care about going to the NUT monthly for 6 months and doing the GI, psych, and everything else lol, but this waiting to see if I get approved OMG is about to drive me crazy .... I guess im just really anxious to get it done and be a better me

I met my surgeon when I did the consultation back in march prior to me starting the process... I was given a "dummy date".. I just completed the process and the surgeon office is sending all my information over to the insurance company for approval.. if approved I meet the surgeon again Oct 3 for pre-op diet plan and my surgery date would be Oct 19th
