  1. I'm on solids now and I feel like I haven't had anything done..I have had no dumping and did have a few peanut m&m's to see how my body reacted to chocolate..nothing .. to be honest I would have preferred to dump..not that I'm planning to eat chocolate on a regular basis..I have also had lightly fried food with no ramifications..on the whole my food choices are healthy but I'm wondering why the things I thought I would have issues with have been fine.

  2. Hey..yes you will have to go through the stages and if anything it is stricter than the sleeve..
I had my revision on 29/7 for reflux and weight gain and I'm happy to say I've had no reflux since surgery. I have to take a Zoton tablet before bed for 3-6 months so whether that is controlling it or the surgery I'm not sure, but when I was in hospital I wasn't taking anything..[emoji4]

  3. I'm similar to you in that I had the sleeve and regained my weight due to inactivity because of an injury and problems with my thyroid...I've just had rny 3 weeks ago and it's definitely been hard going through the deprivation stages and just being on liquids..one thing I wasn't prepared for was the roller coaster emotions after the surgery..probably due to not taking meds (for depression) for a few days...

Don't think of it as a fail..sometimes in life things happen beyond our control and we do things to survive the situations we are going through..you with the drinking and me with the inactivity ..

I feel more determined this time and am grateful that I have a second chance..

Good luck with your decision but definitely make sure you are mentally prepared.

  4. I've just had my 3rd wls (29/7/17) also with similar situations to a couple of others (I'm sure many more) that I've just read. I'm hoping it will be the last and the bypass was way harder than the other two surgeries..probably as I'm older and emotionally this has been much harder.. I suffer terribly with anxiety and depression anyway, but this op really knocked me..im feeling better each day and looking forward to milky drinks at least, rather than this putrid Protein water...YUCK
