  1. I am one month post op and down 43 pounds however I'm no longer losing weight. Any suggestions?
  2. I did protein water when I first came home.
  3. I have not really been counting calories. I can only take in about 2 teaspoons of whatever I eat. I am at a stall because I am not getting in enough calories.
  4. I loss 30% of excess body weight. I'm down 31 pounds!
  5. My pain was at a 1.
  6. Well I hear everyone is different but when I came out of surgery I had some discomfort but no pain. They gave me medication for nausea and pain which could have been the reason. I did have a lot of gas pains in my shoulders, chest and back. I started walking around the hospital 5 hours after my surgery. After my walks I got pain meds and went to sleep. This pattern was for every three hours even in the middle of the night. My husband stayed with me and helped me in and out of bed and helped me use the bathroom. I did not really drink much in the hospital maybe an ounce before I left. Today I'm taking in much more. But I'm never hungry.
  7. Instead of taking the prescription medication for pain I asked my doctor if I could take Tylenol PM. It knocks me out and that was the only way I could sleep. I will be 1 week post op tomorrow.
  8. I had surgery on the 16th. I am doing great! I don't even need pain meds.
  9. Did anyone do a treadmill their first week post op?
  10. Take a deep breath. You will do great!
  11. After a few days I got use to it! You can do it, good luck.
  12. I have a follow up appointment on Thursday so I'm going to make sure I'm not drinking to much because I read it could damage the sleeve. I'm just glad I don't feel hungry.
  13. I went through Lourdes also. I had my serge on the 16th. I'm still trying to get the gas out but I do t really have much pain during the day. At night I have to take the pain meds because I wake up in pain in the middle of the night. Are you going to support groups? How do you know when you drink to much. I don't feel hungry but also don't get sick when I drink.
  14. I had surgery two days ago and the only sign is the gas. I am sipping clear liquids and have no problem with it. I'm not hungry, not in pain, don't feel full, walking around and burping a lot. I thought I would be really full if I sipped on my liquids but not. Is this normal?
