  1. Prepare for the nuclear marshmallow test! Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I was wondering about that. My surgeon has us on a 4 meal a day schedule: 2 shakes plus 2 meals with 1/4 cup soft food. The mix is basically an acknowledgement that we'll need shakes to get the required protein.
  3. I have to get some of those dumplings next time I am at Costco.
  4. I have no plans to report anything to anyone, or even talking to them 'cause they surely know the rules already). I was just venting!
  5. Feeling good today! Still feel like I need an afternoon nap. Back to work on Monday.
  6. Meh, I have no problem with homeschooling. But the helmet thing really does make me nuts, and it is required in blue-blue-blue Maryland. And, my street is fairly steep and ends in a 4-way stop. But no one has been killed (except my first dog :-((), so there is that. Yes, we drove around without seatbelts when we were kids, but people died a lot more from car accidents. And riding in back of trucks? When I was in HS, we lost 6 or more kids to one accident. This was early 80s, before it be came illegal.
  7. At the risk of jinxing myself, I felt a wee bit better this morning when I got out of bed. I guess it is possible that I have simply leaned to move without engaging the impacted muscle/nerves??? Since last night was the worst, it makes me wonder if I pulled something free.
  8. I should, LOL. Dad's a professor at local college and wife is homeschooling all five kids. They look good on paper, but one of their kids is gonna get hurt.
  9. ...when they are on their bikes and scooters. Its driving me nuts!! These kids are little! I had to vet this somewhere, now I feel better!
  10. I haven't noticed an appreciable change during the day. Isn't it amazing how good you feel when you first wake up??
  11. There's no wrong place to be on this site -- except the Men's Room, because they get mad when ladies accidentally post there. The only difference I've found in sleeve verses bypass pre- and post-surgery is the vitamin requirements!! I have no idea why someone started this thread and included "bypass" in the title!
  12. Best wishes for a safe surgery today!
  13. From your fingertips to god's ear!! Cause this is holding me back from doing simple things like walking.
  14. I am having the same problem. It started on Day 10, it now Day 15, and I am ready for it to go away! I am going to call my surgeon's office again today. Its definitely a burning/searing pain at the main incision site that flares when I move. Its miserable!
  15. ha - all the more reason to wear it!!
  16. As a large-tall, hit Eddie Bauer -- stuff's always on sale in that size. Its what all 3 of my guys (husband and 2 sons) wear!!
  17. My haircut photos (as requested) Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. I think: Stronger.Faster.Healthier.
