Neens got a reaction from Healthy_life2 in “NORMAL” BMI!!! + photos
Hey everyone i’m super excited to share that today I stepped on the scale this morning and the number I saw surprised me! I finally hit a normal BMI. And I’m super close to my goal weight (I even surpassed my doctors goal weight which was 72 kg)
I know BMI is just a number but It‘s been over 25 since i was maybe 14 years old. it’s amazing and I’m super happy.
I’m 6 months post op gastric by-pass surgery. My highest and starting weight was 120 kg, my surgery weight was 110 kg, and as of today I’m 71,6 kg.
Here are some photos of my journey:

It's funny that you ask that, right after I did contact yhe lady that set it up, Leili, with no response. Then (I live in Louisiana), I flooded and we lost everything, that surgery was the last thing on my mind for a while. But what is funny, I got on this just yesterday, saw the forum and posted my experience. Leili, called me about a hour ago for me to send my dr recotds.

Neens reacted to Marblicious in Period question
Mine stopped also due to my weight, I had my first one about 4 months after the surgery and it was terribly heavy. It is still intermittent and ranges from heavy to light I will be 6 months post op on 19th December. I had a bunch of tests done to check there was no issue and the doctor said it may take a while to normalise. I am also 53 so even though I am not menopausal yet, that may start to play into the reason mine may continue to be problematic

Neens got a reaction from enigma_007 in 3 months post op
Its incredible how fast time passes, yesterday was my 3 months surgiversary and I couldn’t be happier.
The results im seeing amaze me, every day i’m more and more in love with my surgery, i became a new person, i’m happier, been going out a lot more, i can walk all I want and don’t get tired, i’m still working on some things like my laziness (the couch calls my name and i can’t resist it) luckily i lost my love for fries and chicken nuggets but i do miss diet coke
So far i lost almost 34 kg which I couldn’t have done without surgery.
Surgery was magical for me and the only thing I regret about this is that I didn’t do it sooner.
I’ll leave you some pics of my highest weight compared to what I look today and some stats.
