  1. My surgery was on June 7th. I lost 10 pounds pre surgery and 10 pounds since. But, this week the scale hasn't moved at all. I am journaling my food and being pretty strict on calories (like less than 700 a day. I can't really eat more than that). Plus, I have kicked my walking up a notch. But the scale is not budging. The only thing I know that is not helping is I still pretty constipated and have to take DulcoEase every second day just to go. I still have some side pain so I take the pain meds at night. That is still messing with my regularity, I know.
I am terrified that I spent all this money, worked so hard to stick to the plan...what if this doesn't work for me?

I feel the same way! I had my surgery 6/22/17 and I lost 25 pounds and follow a precise eating pattern. I am constantly on you tube looking at others who had surgery and trying to see how much weight they lost, what they did that I'm not doing etc.

  2. Hello all! I am new to this and I hope I'm doing this right. However, I had my surgery in June @ Lenox hill hospital. My surgeon is awesome! Besides waking up feeling drowsy due to the anesthesia, I thought I didn't have the surgery because I felt fine. Moving forward, when I went back for my first week post op visit I lost 14 pounds. Before surgery I was 232, they didn't weigh me the day of surgery. The first two weeks in my opinion was very frustrating because I couldn't eat, and although I couldn't if I wanted to; but because I couldn't is what was annoying me. Now In total I lost 25 pounds. This surgery consumes me because I'm wondering am I doing it right? Why am I not coming down faster? I know the weight lost comes off gradually but I feel like I could be losing more. So I'm going to start working out and I recently joined kickboxing class. One thing I can say I learned from this surgery is how to eat and what not to eat. I'm happy I did it and don't regret it one bit! I just can't wait to really see the weight lost!
