I am going to give you some spiritual advice. First and foremost you have a tool that works. If you sabotage yourself with high calories and sugar then of course it will work slower and stall. If you are trying your best and following the plan then you need to let your body do what it's going to do and not judge it with your ego mind. Here is where the spiritual part comes in. Whatever you focus your attention on, whatever your emotions and feelings are you WILL attract. If you think you are doing bad and you have ruined it as you said in your post, you will draw to you negative situations. Keep your thought and emotions positive. Congratulate yourself and treat yourself with love understanding. Positive thoughts will yield positive results. You are doing great, you will be successful and this was the best decision you ever made.
    Love and light

I feel completely normal... until I over do it on that "one more bite" or that "last gulp of shake". I'm not nor have I ever been a Water drinker so I'm having a hard time with that. Other than that I am full force in the gym and doing everything normal. I'll be 9 weeks out Monday but been doing this for about 4 weeks now. Down 68 pounds since I started preop.

Well weighing yourself every day, even morning and night helps you learn more about weight flucuations and not put so much emphasis on the scale.
I gain 5 pounds every month with my period, sometimes it is just 3 but usually it is 5. The only reason I know that is because I weigh myself every day and have for the past 2 years. When I see the scale go up the first thing I think about is if my period is due.
I weigh more at night than in the morning. Right now it is the middle of summer, I am retaining small amounts of Water, gain.
Also if you weigh yourself every day, and you know you have been eating properly, you realize how ridiculous the scale can be.
You don't lose every day or every week. Even if you aren't losing pounds you still might be losing inches or your body might just be resting. When I was losing I would stall a lot, a week or 2 at a time. Or bounce around between 2 pounds for weeks, then I would suddenly drop a lot. It isn't about losing all the time, it is about being consistent. If you are consistent with your food, the weight will come off. This is a life long thing, not a diet.

As for some of the weight ups and downs, try keeping track of your sodium intake. That can make you bounce up and down in weight if your sodium intake is high

    Welcome!
You are losing at a normal rate as a 'lightweight' with a sleeve. I assume you've been sleeved since this is posted in the gastric sleeve forum.
When's the last time you previously lost 15 pounds per month through the old-fashioned way of diet and exercise? I suspect the answer is "Never."
You started at 200 pounds. Please realize you'll never be one of those people who loses 30+ pounds monthly like a house on fire because you weren't that morbidly obese to begin with. The bigger the person, the faster they tend to lose.
Realistic expectations are important during your weight loss journey. You didn't exactly become 200 pounds overnight and it will not fall off overnight, either. In fact, expect the rate of weight loss to slow the hell down from this point forward.
I started at 218 pounds and had lost 27.5 pounds at 2 months out, so you are actually losing at a faster rate than me. After the first 2 months I lost at an average rate of 3 to 6 pounds monthly. However, I'm pleased with the final result: I lost 100 pounds and have kept it off so far.
    Good luck to you.

Don't get me wrong I am happy with what I have lost so far! It's just I know a few people who had the sleeve and who have lost more so idk if I should be as well and I worry about why I am gaining weight back and finding it harder to loose them again, when I do everything the doctor told me to do granted the Water intake has been hard for me I definitely struggle with it and I am worried I will gain those few pounds back this is all new to me so this is why I got on here thanks

Your body is not the same as their body. They do not weigh the same as you, since when did everyone lose the same amount? Just concern yourself with your journey, i have the same issue with Water also, I make sure I get in a certain amount before solid.
Honestly if you carry on like this you will never be happy with your loss. I do get this feeling every now and again then I remind myself to get a grip because some people lose fast then it slows down or fast slow fast everyone is at different rates but we will all get there if we follow our doctors instruction.
P.s not drinking enough water can cause water retention I heard, though i am no doctor, time of the month etc all sorts can cause those few lbs, so try not to stress and weigh all the time, stress can make people either lose weight or hold onto weight. i am a holder lol
I am new also 4th July 20lbs down since 1st july but it does feel slow since surgery day so trying not to weigh so I do not get discouraged, maybe this may help?

Edit- How much water are you getting a day?

Can you please put it into prospective? Have you ever lost weight that fast? No. So please don't ruin this journey having high expectations then you will not see the amazing stuff that's happening.

I am with you! I find no enjoyment in anything right now except for the fact that I am down 31 pounds. I have been sick and any time I eat something I get reflux. I know that this is temporary and I was told to expect this, but it kind of sucks. The only thing that keeps me going is the weight loss. Also, I am obsessed with how many calories and Protein I am getting....oh well at least its a healthy addiction.

I'm 5 weeks in and I've only lost 22 pounds so 30 pounds in 2 months is good x

I am 22 days out and I also struggle with cooking. i can only have puree foods right now, but I have enjoyed making my own pinto bean or black bean puree with onions, bell peppers, and ground turkey. I still have head hunger when I see restaurants, but not physical hunger. The struggle is real.
