OMG today has been the best day so far I feel great and look forward to feeling even better.

I've been out most of the afternoon bought a couple of t shirts one size smaller, been walking around pain free.

Almost bought a naughty snack then realised I don't do that anymore.

It was the best feeling ever food does not rule my life.

Remembering it's a battle of the mind is the most important. I am three weeks out, but still have one consciously make the right decisions

I'm 5 weeks out post op sleeve. I'm never hungry till its too late. Then I make myself eat. Vitamins make me feel very sick. I've always had a problem taking Vitamins. I'm worried because I'm only getting about 400 calories and about 30 grams of Protein my muscles will break down. My body feels so weird right now. I'm like a marshmallow. I've lost 50 lbs and it's been a week and I've not lost another lb. Any suggestions?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using BariatricPal mobile app

Have you tried the Isopure liquid Protein Drinks? They have several flavors and each 20oz bottle is 40g of Protein. Drink them ice cold and over ice and that will help u eat more protein. I got mine from the Vitamin shop

Hi Lillie Lou I'm not a doctor so I don't want to give false info but my doctor told me once I felt ready for the full liquids I could move on. My full liquid phase starts Tuesday. So I am slowly starting to incorporate some of the new things I can have such as non fat vanilla Greek yogurt and it was delicious. My husband and I will start making Soup purées with our ninja tomorrow and then Tuesday I start the full liquid portion. I'm also extremely excited for sugar free pudding!!!!!!!!

The Ninja is awesome! I made organic pinto bean and black bean puree and used onions, bell peppers, and some lean ground turkey and it is SOOO GOOD. The ninja makes it super smooth and easy to swallow. I bought 2 ounce and 4 ounce portion cups as well. I am currently getting full off of the 2 ounce cups and drink my Protein Shakes for a snack.

I'm only about three and a half weeks post op and I'm already at a stall. I lost about 17 lbs in the first two weeks and now nothing. Is this typical?

I lost exaxtly 17 pounds as well and I thought I was stalling out, come to find out I was not getting enough fluids. Yesterday 7/22/17 was the FIRST TIME I got all 64 oz of Water in. If we don't drink enough it will slow us down. Today I already had my first 16 oz bottle of water and I am going to open up my 2nd one in a few minutes. Stay encouraged and make sure you are getting your Protein in.

There are so many different post op diets, would anyone be willing to share their 4 phase programs. Also, did anyone start there Vitamins right away.

Hi i just started my puree diet a few days ago. I have been enjoying black bean or pinto bean puree ( organic Beans from sprouts) and I cook them with onions, bell peppers, and a little ground turkey. After it cooks together I throw it in my ninja to get it smooth, and it's so wonderful.

I started my Vitamins two weeks out and I ordered them from Amazon

    1. ProCare Health is the brand- Bariatric Multivitamins with 45 MG of Iron ( 90 pills in the bottle) take 1 per day - $45.99

    2. Caltrate is the brand: Calcium supplement with D3 - they are gummie bites

    3. liquid B-12- I got those locally from sprouts

    4. Biotin - 10,000 mcg 1 time per day. I take these now to prevent the Hair loss that usually occurs 3-6 months after surgery. The brand I ordered from Amazon is made by a company called Sports Research- High potency Biotin made with coconut oil and it's 120 pills in the bottle they were $19.99
