  1. I chose the Vestricto Sleeve because its less "invasive"....relocating my intestines was just too much for me...i know people can loose more weight with bypass...they have less food absorption due to "dumping" syndrome....harder to absorbed nutrient/supplements/MTV, etc....I believe u will be successful in whichever procedure u pick....maybe u want to ask on one of the "bypass" forums how they did with this procedure?...best of luck to u!

  2. I had my band removed July 6th...I developed an " egg size" hematoma over the area where the "port" was located...Doctor said he had a hard time removing this "port" and that was most likely the reason why I developed the "hematoma"...it seems to me the more they "mess" with muscle tissue the more chances u have to develop scar tissue....pooh!..:(...oh well...I'm sure your procedure will resolved ur problem...best of luck!

  3. I had my lap Band removed 3 days b4 u did...I have not tried anything else but high Protein fluids (shakes, clear)... afraid to go for anything other than maybe a tsp of pudding...my thoat hurtled for almost 10 days...I also developed a large "hematoma" over area where lap Band "port" (not sure about the correct name is) was located...Doctor told me he had a "hard time" removing it...:(... It's "egg" size and hard ....it has been getting smaller.......I read my surgery report...eeeeck!!!... it describes how much of my stomach was removed...u right...I try not to think about it......So great u so close to ur weight goal!....ur throat pain will go away n im sure u will do great.....best of luck!

  4. Hi there!...had my "Band Sleeve" revision 10 days ago...I feel like I can return to work now....but I will be taking 2 weeks off .....my pain level on 1st 3 days was minimal (stayed in Hospital 3 days) I had an I.V and had pain meds I.V every 6 hrs..:)...once home my pain level has been maybe a 4/10... easily controlled with Tylenol....the pain will be over your throats and abdominal area (due intubation for O2 during surgery)....it took almost 7 days to get rid of my throat pain...now the pains is mostly over the incision areas (5 small incisions)...I HAVE MINIMAL PAIN TOLERANCE...and I can absolutely tell u it wasn't that bad!!!.... u will do great....good look!!!....:)
