I feel the same exact way. I've drank about 20oz of fluids today and tried to walk as much as possible. This is hard.

What helped everyone with their nausea? I feel like every time I sip something I get nauseous. How long will this last? Really struggling post op

I keep walking and sipping at can't get rid of these gas pains I'm in so much discomfort. Help!

Yesterday was a whirl wind. Had some nausea and gas pains but no vomiting. Walked around my unit for 7 laps. Incisions are sore but everyone says they look great. Feel out of it, glad it's over. Hoping the next couple days are easier.

You can do this! It's truly the definition of mind over matter. When I was just a few days into my liquid only diet, I thought about the reason we have to do it. My Dr. wants my liver as small as possible so it's easier to get to the stomach. I definitely want to make his life easier when he's operating on me! This thought process really helped me through. I'm 11 days in and I can say it gets easier! Just take it one day at a time oh and get the caramel Premier Protein shakes - they're heaven!

Thanks for sharing Jeremy! Can I ask why it's difficult to get your liquids in? Is it painful? Or difficult to digest? I'm curious to know what to prepare for. You're doing great!

I'm on the 9th too! I've been on the liquid diet for 8 days and it's tolerable but annoying. Try drinking more water! It should help with the headaches. Good luck, 6 more days to go!

I'm jealous! I have to do 14 days clear liquids! Only thing getting me through is the hard boiled egg whites I'm allowed. Tomorrow is the halfway point though.

So exciting! I just had my pre admin testing this morning. All set and ready to go! Just ordered some cheap slippers off Amazon to bring with me to the hospital. Oh and by the way - day 6 of this liquid only diet - OVER IT! This sucks. But I'm doing it! 9 more days and counting...!!!
