  1. The best thing i have ever done! I’m seeing numbers on the scale I haven’t seen since middle school! The best part about this is I have three very active boys and now I am playing with them! Going down the slide, going to the skate park and scootering with them! I feel like a kid and it’s amazing the endorphins it releases when your high up in the air on the swing I have had absolutely no complications and am feeling amazing!!

  2. So I'm starting week 3 post op tomorrow. But I'm heading up to the lake for a few days. So I did some meal prep here.
First off. I'm so done with chicken broth, cream Soup with all the good stuff missing, popsicles and jello.... I've eaten so much jello... ugh...
But I just quickly made up that Ricotta cheese bake and what I call my Ground Turkey Burrito Casserole. And HOLY. Real food tastes so damn good. I'm a day early but snuck a bite from each and I thanks God for a solid 5 minutes as I just let it sit in my mouth.
I know 2 oz. is only like 5 bites, but I'm going to milk the **** out of those 5 bites.
    The hard part is over.

  3. Maybe you would fee better if you just stuck to a liquid diet for the first two weeks and ease into things i know different surgeons have different diets to follow but I had surgery the same day as you and I am feeling great I have to mentally stop myself from doing things I know I shouldn't be right now that's the part I'm struggling with like i hate sitting around the house and not being able to just deep clean everything haha... but I am just barley starting my full liquid diet tomorrow I have been on Clear Liquids Since surgery, which I do have a small lack of energy but taking small breaks more often helps with that! I don't start eating puréed food until aug 2!

  4. Sometimes and( I know people do have bad experiences with telling people about surgery ) you will be very surprised I told my close friends and family and some co workers I was having it done so the day of my mom and fiancé were receiving a ton of texts checking in on the actual surgery, my mom asked before I went in the day of if she could just write it on Facebook so she didn't have to respond individually to 1000 text twenty different times to update people and I told her no... but then got to thinking that I don't care what others think, I've worked really hard to even have this surgery, I'm making a huge life change and I'm proud of myself, so that night after having surgery from the hospital bed I made a huge Facebook post about here goes the first day of the rest of my new life and I was SHOCKED by the amount of support I received!!!! Over 100 comment and almost 200 likes of all support!!! I think you will feel so much happier to just be honest and open, when you hide it it subconsciously always makes you feel like your doing something wrong and by no means is this the easy way out of weight loss! I've had so many people say I don't know how you do it it just seems so difficult... but again I'm proud of how far I've come and I'm not even one week post op and have the love and support from my close community!!! And it feels GREAT... ignore the people who have negativity chances are they have never been in your shoes, also if there negative towards you they probably have something dragging them down in their lives and want to induce negativity around them to make them selves feel better! Respond to them with didn't your mother ever tell you if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all!!!

  5. does anyone else have a very noisey stomach. mine sounds like a witches culdren bubling away when ever I take a drink move anything.
Yesterday was really bad I thought it could be "dumping syndrom" but now I'm thinking it could be the gas they used to inflate my body moving around.
I want to go for a walk but am a bit concerned about not being close to the bath room.
Any thoughts / surgestions gratfully recieved

My stomach was soo noisy the other day about three days post op I was like what the hell was this??? But I think it may have had something to do with the gas they use for surgery because it hasn't happened since!

  6. Hi! I'm four days post op and struggling with how bored I am I try to get up to do things like walk or shower and maybe a few dishes and slowly put laundry away....but I have no energy because my clear liquid diet consist of Water , Soup broth and sf popsicle, I can have sf Jello but I can't eat more then a few bites, so I am getting very little Protein, thankfully my full liquid diet starts Tuesday and hopefully drain and staples out Wednesday! I'm looking forward to a Protein Shake for some energy!

Also driving I know my dr said two weeks but if your not on pain medication does anybody drive sooner?

  8. My surgery is July 19th I've done the pre op since July 9th and it has been hard but not as hard as I thought I've been to family gatherings and a wedding on this diet, the wedding was the hard part I'm only supposed to have the liquids or sf pudding , Greek yougurt or sf Jello but I did sneak just a few bites of the salmon and let me tell you just from being on this pre op diet I felt a rock in my stomach eating a few bites of that salmon!!! But I am very excited for Wednesday!!!

  9. I am getting married about 7 weeks post op surgery is July 19 and wedding is September 9 I am not a big drinker but my family is big on drinking and celebrating they like to party! I asked my doctor about having a drink or two at my wedding and he said I should be fine! This was definitely a worry for me!!
