TLC's MY 600-LB LIFE Casting Call for Season 7!
Is she still at it? Lol. Bless her heart, I'm happy you're ignoring her as well, something just isn't right about her. There are many ways of trolling, she reminds me of the trolls that attempt to bait people to play her back and forth games. Nada, not this girl and not you. Happy Friday, everyone!

TLC's MY 600-LB LIFE Casting Call for Season 7!
Honestly, I value my time and desire to be inspired by others, I've chosen to ignore Nunu. I understand, we all have our "days", but she will not include me in her off days. Life is beautiful and hey, can I get some low cal popcorn, too? lol

Sex drive after surgery?
After you lose the weight and feel better about yourself as a person and with the accomplishments, it'll find you again.

The good, bad and the ugly. CARBS!
I was just chatting w/ a support buddy and I realized how confused, I actually am when it comes to carbs. I know this answer will be different per person, but just as a general question, how many carbs per day, do you allow yourself? When counting those carbs, do we count the good carbs w/ the bad, does the amount of fiber erase some of the carbs? I'm flippin', confused!

Balloon scheduled for 8/31!
I don't mean to startle you, but there's a post on here somewhere, about the Balloon being investigated due to deaths. I don't know if you've read it already, but it's floating around. http://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/deaths-after-gastric-balloon-procedure-for-obesity-investigated-by-fda/

Can I eat this?
"The average excess weight lost following laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery is about 65% (in other words, at 100 pounds overweight the average patient loses almost 70 pounds). Many patients have seen results of well over 80%. “Mostpatients keep at least 50% of their excess weight off after 10 years.”

WLS for a sugar/carb addict and binger?
I'm so confused by the original poster, this person should not have the Sleeve. Their issue is well beyond the WLS, they need to tackle their addiction, first. Being forced to eat in small quantities, will do nothing. My goodness, what in the heck?!

Struggling with Pre-Op Diet
Congrats to your wife and you will do just as well! You know, at this point (almost two years later) I still refuse to buy a scale. I'm so afraid I'll become obsessed w/ it, so I always look forward to my appointments so I can see how much was lost over that period of time. You're so right, the scale may not reflect the loss of what you'd like, but the inches will happily let you know when they're being kissed, goodbye.

Very saggy lady bits and only half way there!
Right, I was thinking about the breasts as well. LOL! Alright, on a serious note. I had the same concerns, but as I really got into working out, it tightened up and was I so excited to finally see my "HooHa", without lifting the gut. GIRL, YASSSSSS!!! Ehem, alright, back to what I was saying. I agree w/ the above, as you workout things will tighten and once you've met goal or are very close to it, you can attempt to get your breast lift/ reduction and Panni. The insurance just approved my lift/reduction.

Can I eat this?
"Can we?" To be honest, if there are any issues on this thread, it should be addressed by the "OP". If you're butt hurt over anything that was said, you can privately email that person. Generally, that's how adults behave, or at least, so I thought. Thank you for your concern about @MochaKelly, I gave her a hug w/ a high 5 If the poster doesn't want honest feedback from all types of people w/ different views, she may want to find people who will go along w/ whatever she "feels" is best to sabotage herself with. People are honest, opinionated, and very direct on a lot of these threads. Get over yourself and realize, not everyone deals with people or situations the way you do. Hugs, mwah! Be well and be the best you! @MochaKelly

How many ounces do you eat per day and how far out?
You know what, you'd think you've be hungry all of the time, but you'll be okay. Most of the hunger I thought I felt, was actually my body asking for water. Head hunger vs. actual hunger, once you conquer that, it'll be smooth sailing.

Smoothie and shake work arounds- sick of boring protein shakes??

11 months out and hit a massive stall
Simple carbohydrates are broken down quickly by the body to be used as energy. Simple carbohydrates are found naturally in foods such as fruits, milk, and milk products. They are also found in processed and refined sugars such as candy, table sugar, syrups, and soft drinks. I'm that person who had to find what a simple carb is, lol. The carbs are really confusing to me, good vs. bad, drive me bonkers. If I run into a stall, I'll try this. Thank you!

Done, done, and heck yes!!!

Protein bars with no sugar alcohol
I'm a Premier fan and every now and then, I'll get Power Crunch. I don't get PC often, due to the amount of protein, I want the full 30.

How many ounces do you eat per day and how far out?
I'm a year and a half out and I can only eat up to about, 3 to 4 ounces at a time. If I'm eating meat, it's a less than that, usually, I will cut up a chicken breast and eat it as a snack or This week: Breakfast - Greek Oikos Snack: P3 (Nuts and Jerky) - A snack size cheese Lunch: Protein Bar (Premiere) Snack: Cucumber w/ Light Ranch and a touch of sea salt w/ an Ostrim (Ostrich) Stick (So, good!) Dinner: Chicken or Fish w/ a veggie Snack: Sugar Free Jello Every week, I like to switch things up so things will not get boring. lol

Horror Story
No one pay attention to this poster, she was caught on another thread for being a troll. They also found fake Fundme accounts, under her name as well.

Weight loss AFTER removal of excess skin
And most insurance companies require the same as well. Before the approval of breast lift and reduction, I had to have maintained a steady weight for at least, three months.

Can I eat this?
I love you! lol The way I see it, people ask for advice and I assume, they ask w/ the intent of getting and honest (or what is honest for the person answering) answer. We're not here to respond in ways that'll kiss your butt, we respond in ways that we can relate to and that relate to others. Yes, at the end of the day, it is an opinion. Sadly, we've come to a time where many people don't understand the base of an opinion. You find a message in an opinion or you keep it moving. I, personally, would pass up a small sucker that will put crap carbs and sugar into my body, but again, I take my WLS seriously. Either we have discipline or we don't. We need to help those who are actually making an attempt to try and not those who live by "Hey, I'm going through something, one bite will not hurt". Oh, trust me, it will.

Smoothie and shake work arounds- sick of boring protein shakes??
I love PB2, but I find it's hard to mix. Do you get powered protein or do you use a liquid? I'm not big on mixing shakes, do you add those ingredients w/ just ice?

Soups After Surgery
I really wish soup didn't fill me up as soon as I start eating it, I usually remove the liquid and just eat the meat and veggies. Drab! lol
