  1. Oh, how I miss pork chops, but for some odd reason, my cravings are no longer for them. I don't really care for pork chops or beef anymore, I wonder how I will tolerate them if I tried it anyway. Hmmmm
  2. Ah, I thought you were asking for yourself. If that's the case, I'd go with A. I'm surprised, they let you take the questionnaire home, to me, that's takes away from the eval.
  3. To be honest, if they're on the FDA's radar for the ingredients used, I'd rather stay away from that product. Removing them from my daily use, is something I feel better doing. Knowing there are other products out there, that will give me the same outcome, I have no problem w/ making the needed adjustment. DATEM, as a whole, is not good for the body and is an ingredient that should not be consumed. If you choose to continue, please do. For me, this is a personal choice.
  4. Inspire is through Bariatriceating, I like it, but I tend to make shakes only on the weekend. A little will go a long way for me, so the price doesn't bother me as much, as it used to.
  5. I lost 50 pds in two months, how are you sure your weight loss will stop? This may sound silly, but could there be a chance you'll lose too much weight?
  6. No way, I'm so proud of my loss. Forget the clips and get new and smaller sizes. Although, in the beginning, I would have loved this for my shirts. lol
  7. I refused to shop at the thrift stores in the beginning, it took a $200 purchase (pants) at the Avenue and me growing out of the pants two weeks after...that finally convinced me to shop at a consignment shop. Bra's, panties, and shirts, obviously, I still pay regular price for. I've found a new web consignment shop Swap.com, I LOVE THEM!!!!
  8. I researched that after reading about the hoopla on here, this is one I'll stay away from. Thankfully, I tend to stick to a Protein Powder and I don't stray. Inspire works for me.
  9. That drink looks delicious, my only question, is that the protein we need? I've found in some protein drinks, it sadly, isn't the protein that our bodies can absorb. Of course those drinks, are the ones I really like and can tolerate. lol
  10. I will follow you on this, I have a case I'm planning to return to Sam's, they're horrible and made me gag. Thank you for reminding me, for what I spent on them, I'm on a hunt to get my money back. I'd love to see the suggestions you're getting.
  11. Mine is in a month, I'm so happy for you!!!! Wishing you a successful recovery
  12. After many organizations were called out for their misleading collections/funding (Goodwill, Salvation..etc), I no longer give to them or shop in their stores. However, I agree w/ your post. I now give to the Mission in my city, I couldn't imagine doing anything else with my clothes.
  13. This really has one answer. YOU! YOU choose what will influence you, YOU choose to fail, YOU choose to succeed. I feel, when you consider all of the other factors, you're building reasons to make excuses when you're responsible for it all. It all started w/ YOU and only YOU can determine how this whole process will work for you.
  14. Oh wow, to be honest, when I planned to have the surgery I didn't bother to research all options. I went in wanting the Sleeve and thankfully, my surgeon felt that was the best thing as well. When it came to the Sleeve, I was fully versed. Although, he did remove 80% of my stomach, not the standard 75%. I hope that's not a bad thing.
  15. Eh, we must pick and choose our battles and the battle of an ill stated opinion, isn't one for me to take on. In most cases, I stick to that. lol I do, however, have my random exceptions.
  16. Researching along w/ suggestions, will always be your best friend. Inspire, they're delicious!
  17. I agree, that is the main reason I like Plated. I loved being able to make meals and I actually held onto the recipes and made some of those meals, on my own. I love them!
  18. I was just looking at Plated, their menu has changed, significantly. The last time I ordered was in 2015, but the types of foods I'm looking for now, do not fit my needs. I'd have to modify and severely limit a lot of what I'd be able to order and that'll get boring, quickly. However people choose to eat healthy, that's what I'll support. If that is having meals delivered, so be it. I will not belittle them or make them feel as though they're less than me or anyone else. Your tone was not a settling one, so @JohnnyCakesresponse and disgust your comment, I can understand. I may not have reacted that way or even reacted at all, but I can understand his distaste. I suggested meal service or a personal chef for my mother and her husband, they're always on the go and that service would work best for them. By the time they get home and settled, it's already the early evening and being able to grab a healthy meal from the fridge and being able to heat it up and eat, is great. What works for one, may not work for the other 5.
  19. If they already made the changes, I'm not sure, but they will have until 2018 to do it. https://www.cov.com/~/media/files/corporate/publications/2015/06/fda_issues_final_determination_withdrawing_the_gras_status_of_phos.pdf
  20. I used to follow that show and like LOST, I lost the interest There were several good drinks on the list, I think I'll research those before adding them to my "what's new" list.
  21. Dr.Fox has retired and I'm now looking for a new surgeon for follow up appointments, may I ask who you used and if you liked the progress w/ that Dr.? My records were transferred to Dallas Bariatric Center, but if I have to pick a new Dr., I'd prefer they be closer to Arlington.
  22. I was referred to him through Dr.Fox, I love working w/ him and am very anxious to have my surgery next month. He works out of Forrest Park (Medical City Dallas). https://www.cliniquedallas.com/john-antonetti/ He being, Dr.Antonetti.
  23. I feel you on that one, this is the one liquid protein I actually enjoy. Powders, if I use them, I tend to deal with on the weekends. Welp, there's that!
