  3. Did anyone start questioning surgery after having success with the preop diet?  Having success with the preop is making me wonder if I should just continue with the diet and a trainer and don't know if  this is just normal ad I should just go ahead with my date or if this is the little voice we are told to listen to.  Help

I'm steady w/ losing, but the closer I am to my goal, I'm incorporating a few new foods. The Dr. removed 85% of my stomach and he also removed the hormone that makes me crave, sometimes, I even forget to eat. Knock on wood, I've stalled in the past, but never have I gained any weight.

Are you speaking about loose skin, if so, that really depends on your build. I was almost 400 pounds, but I don't have a lot of hanging skin. I was denied the Panni, due to not having enough of a "loose" skin in the abdominal area for the surgery, but I was approved for the breast lift/reduction. I think it has a lot to do with the build of the person vs. the weight lost. If that makes sense. I've seen women who weighed less than I, who have a huge amount of loose skin. My Dr. says, it has a lot to do with age and the level of activity we commit to.

I didn't think twice when it came to the weight lost prior to the surgery, the surgery was a sure thing. If nothing else, it gave me the motivation to follow through and showed me w/ discipline, I could actually prosper after the surgery. It was my motivational, boost! lol. I have a friend who is a trainer, before and after the surgery, he met w/ me and showed me what I need to do and in what cycles to do them. I'd say, in the beginning that will be essential, but after a bit, you should be able to do everything on your own. You got this!!! :)

Target! I love that I'm now able to fit in their "regular" clothes, how joyful that is. :D I agree w/ Japan, they fit you very well, don't hide that transformation.
