    Food Channel

@FluffyChix YES, that show, it's so wonderful! To be honest, I don't have an issue w/ being surrounded by food. I've gone to a bakery full of my favorites and w/ discipline, I've always maintained a great deal of restraint. I understand, however, it's not that easy for us all.

To be honest, I don't have any issues when it comes to cooking shows, but being new to the "Losers Bench" , I can understand your need to want to stay away. @Laggy - I love that show so much, you have no idea. I binged on that show when they brought it to Netflix, have you checked out The Chef's Table?! MY GOODNESSSSSSSSS <3
  3. Alright, after reading several posts, I have a question. Eggs, the incredible and very edible, egg. My Dr. said we shouldn't be eating eggs daily. Maybe twice a week w/ two strips of turkey bacon, would be my cutoff. I see on other posts, when some are giving their daily intake, eggs and turkey bacon seem to be a daily thing. Also, oatmeal, many people will have that for breakfast and I've become deathly afraid of it, due to the carbs. My Dr. said the same thing, he said oatmeal would be something he's okay w/ me eating. What's going on here, did I miss something?

    Lack of Libido?

Have they checked your prolactin levels? I was zapped and when visiting my GYN and after explaining to her what was going on, she tested my prolactin levels and come to find out, I had a pituitary adenoma (later diagnosed by my neuro-surgeon). Once I was on meds and sure as heck after my Sleeve, I'm up and runnin' again.
  6. Oh yes, I love them very much. I eat them as a snack and even though its such a small amount, they still hit the spot for me. Now, when I eat them, I break them up a bit due to the edges cutting the sides of my mouth. (If that makes sense)
  7. Yes, the whole package is only .35 ounces. There are 12 packs, in an order.
  8. 10g, is one package. I tried other flavors, but the Teriyaki was my winner. When I eat them at work, people give me such an odd look. Heck, they don't know what they're missing!!!

Very saggy lady bits and only half way there!

I did that two months ago, the vulvaplasty. I completely understand how you're feeling and I tell ya, you'll feel amazing after that is done. I will not go into too much detail, but the work you and your husband will be very pleased with.
  10. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! Thanks to Whole Food's, I fell in love w/ roasted teriyaki seaweed. I have no problem w/ eating them and actually, one little serving is enough for me. YUM! https://www.amazon.com/gimMe-Snacks-Organic-Roasted-Teriyaki/dp/B00F0UAMCQ/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1503491352&sr=8-2&keywords=gimme%2Borganic%2Broasted%2Bseaweed%2Bsnacks&th=1

To eat daily, or not to eat...EGGS!

I chuckled when I saw this, something must be trying to push us to LOVE eggs. lol http://www.msn.com/en-us/health/nutrition/12-things-that-happen-to-your-body-when-you-eat-eggs/ss-BBAoKWe?ocid=ientp#image=1
  13. That is very interesting, I wonder why you don't feel what the Sleevers are known to feel. Things that make you go, hmmmm..lol
  14. So, that would be a huge difference between Sleeved vs. what you decided to have? For me, if I eat a bit too fast and it was actually too much (seldom to happen, but it has), I either have to throw up or lay down until the feeling passes. You never run into that issue? Also, thank you for the compliment, I really appreciate it. I'm very determined and focused, I never want to go back to where I was. I started out w/ a BMI of almost 70 O.o How was that possible? No, more!

    YIKES!!! I am the worst

One thing my Dr. said, "When cooking, do not sample the food as it is being prepared". Being someone who cooked all of the time, I understand the "habit" of doing it. I will join in w/ the others, you'll be just fine. I'm sure it is something that will not be repeated and you'll happily go on, all is well!
  16. This isn't a method I would have chosen, but I'm very happy to see you're doing well @EW11211. If I may ask, the comment you made about not feeling the ill effects of overeating, how do you actually feel?

To eat daily, or not to eat...EGGS!

http://www.healthline.com/nutrition/how-many-eggs-should-you-eat#section3 This was interesting. In conclusion, I will continue to enjoy eggs, but I think I will keep my limit to where it once was and as my Dr. permits. Twice a week, I'll enjoy them for breakfast, but I don't think I'll change eating more than that. If, for some reason I do want more, I'll switch those days to egg whites.

To eat daily, or not to eat...EGGS!

"Consuming just one egg per day may significantly shorten our lifespans, increase the levels of the cancer-promoting growth hormone IGF-1, and increase our risk of heart disease, kidney stones, stroke, type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, and some types of cancer." Well, dang!
  19. Extra skin, can increase your cup size? WOW, w/out the skin, I wonder what my true size is. Even as a super youngin' , I've always been a D. As the weight piled on, it obviously added two DD's. lol
  20. I'm getting my lift/reduction in a month, I'm happy you asked this question. I asked someone who had it done and she said they do it based on your waist size and how you're proportioned. I'm now a DDD and am hoping to go to a 36D or DD. Before the surgery, I was almost a 50DDD. My GOODNESS! lol
  21. I had the Premier Juice (I was taking that back any way), it was horrible. The shakes, I had two cases and Sam's happily took them back. Just as it was stated above, if you don't have a dire need for them, why drink something that is questionable? Almost two years out, I will focus more eating all of my protein than drinking them. I did, however, buy a box of their bars and those appear to be just fine, so I kept those. **I don't know how to remove posts, my apologies, I meant to quote Middus.

To eat daily, or not to eat...EGGS!

I don't think I will eat them every day, but I will eat them a bit more than I have. I would eat maybe one egg twice weekly, in the past. I'll add a bit more, but I will not go overboard.

    Food Post WLS Question?

I'm the same, I've become more than frustrated when it came to eating veggies w/ my protein. I'd always eat my protein, but after several bites, I couldn't eat more, but I still had a few bits of veggies. I, like Outside, eat my veggies as a snack and that seems to really work out, best.

To eat daily, or not to eat...EGGS!

I happily ate one egg w/ two slices of real bacon on Saturday and one egg and fruit on Sunday. Oh I tell ya, it was wonderful. Today for breakfast, I have an egg w/ beans. I used to fear eating eggs, but not anymore. I appreciate all of you!

To eat daily, or not to eat...EGGS!

I bought some chocolate Fa!rLife, I can use that for my daily fat, aside from what I normally get. Even thought I had this surgery almost two year ago, I feel like I'm still learning so much. Thank you, all!
