I am currently going through the same thing. They submitted my paperwork to insurance at the end of June. Insurance told them they had to resubmit. According to my doctors office they did and even put urgent on it. Called insurance and doctors office thursday but the insurance said they have nothing. Doctors office said they will call again. From what I hear it only takes my insurance two days to get back. So I am giving them until Wednesday and I am calling again. My doctors office said we will call you but I am not waiting on that. As I start school in September and need to have my surgery scheduled in August!
The IPA group that has to approve always sends letter. I would call them directly...

This past week I completed all my pre surgery requirements! My husband was sleeved on June 27th 2017. I am very eager to get mine done and excited that I am ready. Waiting for them to call me with a surgery date is the hardest! I really don't want to wait for months on end. I don't think I'm worried about the surgery it's the 2 weeks liquid fast that has got me worried. I don't do well with mind games but I am happy my husband is so supportive! My husband has had great recovery and is looking amazing! I'm 28 years old and ready to live my new life style!! Is anyone else waiting for a call?? It does not help that my boss keeps asking when it is. Ugh I pray it's soon [emoji846]
I understand it's also been a long waiting game for me. Prayers sent your way... mine is 7/14

5 days out and I feel good. Incisions are tender but that's it. I just have to work on getting more fluids in me. I swear I feel like I'm drinking constantly but my glass is almost never empty. I have found that if I drink something other than plain drinking Water, I tend to drink more. I guess for now I'll just keep drinking something!
Awesome! That's why they suggested crystal light.. fruit punch is my favorite. Eat crushed ice

You weren't replying to me but I'm just a light breakfast (eggs or whatever) and liquids for one day before like I was getting a colonoscopy. Then I drink this high sugar ensure on the way to the hospital.
Oh ok! Wow high sugar? Interesting mine has me on a low to zero sugar. I'm dying to eat French fries lol.

Congratulations, I get sleeved on July 11th and my doctor told me not to diet before the surgery
I'm noticing that every surgeon requires something different. You have to b on a liquid diet at least 2-3 days before right? Some are asked to be on one for 13 days
