  1. After surgery I was having what my doctor called was mental hunger. After being sleeved the task is to recondition the mind about food. As my doctor explained it the portion of your stomach that is removed creates the chemical that causes hunger.

Listen to your body.. Is your mind telling you, you've gotta eat or are you feeling weak, having stomachache (hunger cramps)?
I kept my mouth busy by chewing ice, that kept my mind distracted.
    You can make it...

  2. I just started being able to cross my legs, too! It's still a tight fit, but possible!
Today, the towel closed at the bottom!! A large bath towel (it wasn't a beach towel)!

Lol. I so remember the excitement I first had, when I could cross my legs like the old men.. I would be at work in meetings with my legs crossed my coworkers would just chuckle at me..

  3. I had surgery on Thursday and I have not gone to the bathroom since last Wednesday. It will be a week tomorrow. Is this normal or should I be concerned. I don't feel bloated or even have the feeling that I have to go. I'm getting concerned should I take a stool softener. Is this normal? Should I take something or just let it happen when it happens. Sorry to much info[emoji45]

I wouldn't take any harsh laxatives, make sure you're drinking your gallon of Water or as much water as you can. Get your self some Metamucil or some type of stool softener. Better yet consult your doctor, check your post surgery notes.
