  1. Hello everybody! I was just wondering what your day looks like during te puréed stage. How much can you eat in a sitting; Ive been doing 2 tablespoons of protein (ie: tuna blended with Greek yogurt) and 2 tablespoons (or less) of mashed potato. I feel I could eat more. I don't want to overeat. I also don't know when I'm full. How do you know you are full? Thank you in advance!
  2. Great idea! I've been craving tuna since day 1 of the pro op diet lol! Thank you
  3. Hello everybody! I was sleeved August 16th. I haven't been in pain or anything, I am not hungry but I want to chew!!!! I still have one more week until full liquids (pudding, yogurt cream of chicken etc). I think I am kind of regretting the surgery, it's going to be about 7 weeks before I can start regular foods so I'm not sure if I regret the surgery or I feel like this because I've been on a liquid diet for almost a month now and I miss chewing food? Has this happen to anybody here? Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? Please no negative comments Thank you very much!
  4. So, silly question... I'm starting full liquids next week. I love butternut squash creamed soup and such. Can i just blend everything and make it into a thin liquid or is that for the puréed stage? I make a very good chilli, can I blend that? I'm just tired of the sweet protein drinks, I need savory stuff in my life!!!! As always, thank you all for your help!

    August Sleevers-How are you doing??

Hello! Sleeved 8/16. Pain only the night at the hospital! A lot of gas so gas x and peppermint tea have been invaluable! I'm having a hard time drinking protein shakes, they just sit there... weird... like they sit in my throat, I don't know it's weird. I've been drinking clear protein by premier, that goes down a little better. Cannot eat jello, only like 1 spoon and that's it... water and broth go down ok. I feel like I want food, I'm not hungry but I want something with flavor, I can't wait for creamed soups in the next stage. Good luck all!!!

    August Sleevers-How are you doing??

It's hard! I was sleeved on 8/16 and it's hard to get the liquids and the protein... all I do is try to drink a little more every day, the most I've done is 56 oz and 30 g of protein, the doctor said it's ok, that the number they give you is a goal but work towards that goal day by day. Good luck!!!

    Greek yogurt

I'm not there yet but I've read that some people put sugar free syrop like the Torino or Da Vinci, I have coconut and dulce de leche and I plan on trying a little bit with my yogurt when I get there. Maybe you want to put some protein powder? I don't know I'm just brainstorming here lol Good luck!!!
  14. Thank you! Yes protein shakes are starting to annoy me LOL! Ok I'll hang in there. Thank you and good luck in your journey!

    5 days post-op gas pain?

I sip peppermint tea, sometimes it works better than the gas x. When it's too much gas I do both and walk, walk, walk! It sounds silly but walking helps move the gas! Good luck!

    Pre Op Diet

I'm on my 10th day (out of 15). The Trick for me has been drink non stop: water, protein, water, jello, broth, clear protein, water, protein, jello... like that and i have never been hungry. I also put half a lime or lemon in the broth. Don't let too much time pass between "meals" because it's hard to catch up drinking protein shakes. I also put cinnamon in my vanilla shake, I drink premier. You can also buy the Davinci Sugar free syrup (if your dr and nutritionist allow it). Hope it goes well!!!
