I just want to post that I have been banded sice nov 07, got prego jan 08, had a 7lb 7oz healthy baby girl Oct 08. I am still b feeding and plan to past 1 yr. i only had 1 fill and never got an unfill. gained 15 lbs dur pregnancy and currently below my pre prego weight. about 45lbs below pre band weight. Im doing great and so is baby girl. she is in the 75 percentile with no formula supplements. Only breastmilk. So it can be done:thumbup:

I am so glad to hear this. I had my daughter 6 weeks ago and really want to get a fill. My dr took everything out at the end of my first trimester so my band is totally empty and I am worried about gaining back the weight I have lost. I only had my band 3 months when I got pregnant so my weight loss was only 35 lbs which I an still at. I have my 6 week on appt tomorrow and if I have gained I am calling my lb dr!

We have showers for men where I live, but they are called diaper parties. The guys all get together and have a bbq and some drinks. And diapers are an easy and very needed gift to bring.

I have never heard of a grandmother party, but it is a cute idea.

I was having constant sickness too...until I got unfilled. I have only been sick twice since then and being able to actually be sick makes it go away faster.

I can feel mine if I shift some of my fat. I am 16 weeks and I have started to get all weird about it too, even though I can feel it. I have been lifting all my lower ab fat up and I can see my actual bump. I have no hope of having a cute bump anytime soon. I do hope I am at least showing a little by Christmas.

I just had my unfill two weeks ago. I was really having a hard tie with morning sickness and not being able to thow up was becoming an issue. My ob was also getting worried because I had lost 8lbs since my first appt with her. My surgeon completely unfilled my bad, that is his policy on pregnancy. It is so starnge to be able to eat larger portions.

I had my first fill in June and it was only 2cc. I have very little restriction, but have still been able to loose about 23-24lbs with this fill. I was really discouraged after the first week after the fill because my weight didnt change very much, but here lately I have been losing.

I have also heard that it takes 3 fillls to get to good restriction.

I have lost 28 lbs, so far!!!

I started my mushies and it seems to be going well. I am actually feeling full now. On the liquids I really wasnt.

I was banded on 5/6 and had my first follow up today. I am eating alot less, but I am always hungry!

Thank goodness I am not alone. I have been so hungry. I really have stuck to the liquids, though. It has been hard and I am only a week out!
