  1. Hello, friends!

I made it to Onederland!!!! First time probably since I got married 14 years ago. It feels great to buy smaller clothes.

Eating is going ok. I really need to get back to using my Baritastic app to track my food. Some days I feel like I'm eating too much, other days I forget to eat. Ugh!

My hair is falling out like crazy. Wahhhhhh! I'm using Nioxin Shampoo and taking 10K of Biotin a day. Oh well, it will grow back.

Went out for sushi with my husband last weekend, and asked for options without rice. There were two rolls on the menu without rice already! It was fabulous! Sometimes you think life is over because of all the foods you can't have, but times like this make me happy :)

We were talking about life and social events revolving around food--and people noticing that you're not eating. So true. I said I feel like I get noticed more for not drinking alcohol. How about you guys?

  2. Hi everyone!

I haven't been very active here, but I want to jump back in. I'm just about 8 weeks out and i'm down 38 pounds since surgery. I feel like I've hit a bit of a stall, but I keep going:) What's everyone eating these days? I feel like all I eat is chicken, ground turkey, and Protein Bars. I need to mix it up!

Congrats to everyone on their weight loss. Keep up the great work!

  3. Day 5 post op. Still feel bloated, and not great all around. I keep walking and sipping. I keep having a stabbing pain under my left rib. Not sure if it is gas? Or maybe I'm sipping too much at a time? It is really hard to get your Protein and Water in at this stage! Ugh. I feel like I was so focused on what I was going to be able to eat after surgery, and not focused enough on the reality of post op. I don't care about eating at all. Everything hurts. Not saying that to scare anyone. Just that maybe you will be more prepared than me. Everyday I do feel a smidge better.

Had mine last week 2/7..... if your belly has pain because mine was tender I would sleep with a pillow I could hug to provide security to my belly. Also, if you have a recliner that will be your best friend. Take your meds as you will need it and it will help, but be prepared to be constipated. I received gabapentin for nerve pain- did you?

I didn't get anything for nerve pain. 😣
