@KateBruin there are no incisions with Endoscopic. There is no cutting involved. No down time. In and out the same day.

@OutsideMatchInside that was my point with the staples vs. sutures, both foreign materials in the body! LOL.
It is similar to Gastric Plication, thankful for that because I can use the results I am seeing from others as comparison. Since endoscopic is newer, I am only finding a few people that are sharing their results. I consider them both similar to the Gastric Sleeve just without cutting the stomach. I plan to have Endoscopic.
Thanks for your thoughts on this!

I am looking for anyone who has had the Endoscopic Sleeve surgery that can give me details and result information. Cost information? Thank you in advance.

Maybe that one should be called an endoscopic plication or something.
I get a bit leary at the thought of stitches holding the stomach's shape long term. Any non-biologic material in the body has chance of failure over time.
Doesn't gastric sleeve use staples? The Gastric Plication turns the stomach into itself. It's different than the endoscopic sleeve which sutures the stomach to the shape, similar to the Gastric Sleeve, just without cutting the stomach off.

Endoscopic Sleeve

I got a quote of $9100 here in the Houston area. I'm shocked that a new surgery would cost so much. Although there isn't much history on the Endoscopic Sleeve version, it is very similar to Vertical Sleeve and the Plication. People have had results with it. However, I would expect it to cost so much less since there is no cutting or overnight stays at the hospital. So I'm looking vertical sleeve again but weighing my options.
