  12. Hi there. Congrats on your new surgery. It's my understanding that you are still healing. So unfortunately the lack of loss is normal however I understand the fustration. Keep your fluid up and if you experience any constipation get some thing from your doctor to help. But you are on the right track and doing the right thing. It's easier said than done. But weighing less will be benificial to your well being. I used to weigh daily now just once a week though I get tempted. Good luck. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

  16. Congrats on this journey. I'm 26 and 5, month post if you have any questions . Regarding social life. It hasn't effected mine went out for Chinese food a week ago ate some squid ate some prawns and bite of ribs a bite of beef. I didn't want the noodles or rice but I'm allowed it on my plan. I go for dates and I'll have my drink and perhaps order a starter and share it with the person. No one notices anything. Early out I went to a buffet I didn't eat much wasn't worth me paying but enjoyed the atmosphere. I prefer were you can order food. Im very social now I'm getting smaller. Any questions please ask Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. Your body and your mind has been used to eating for years and years so it's a real adjustment and it's normal to just crave eating. I was craving nacho chips I dreamt of licking them but when I was about to do it I realised It was a bad idea. Now I can eat nachos . . I had forgotten about it... I'm 5 months post when I tried it again and I spat it out. It had no flavour to me. And I thought all that time I spent dreaming and now I can eat it it tastes like crap. I can imagine that will happen to you because our taste buds change. I cook for my kids so i just cooked things I know I didn't mind not having or if I did mind I would freeze a small portion and say " I'm have it when I'm in solid food " lol it will get easier about I'd say week 6 when you are on normal solid food for me I actually was full so easy on dense protein it's odd after a couple of bites I felt stuffed. Even now when I think I'm starving hungry two bites and I'm full. You got this. Keep a diary of goals and exciting things you wish to achieve as you lose weight and bring it out whenever your tempted to lick or maybe eat something not on plan. 23. Hi. You've really had a hard time of it. All those things you describe shows you have incredible strength. I'm so glad to hear you don't have hang overs but I'm worried about your liver. Do you think you'd ever consider an alchaholic anon group ? Or even one to one .? Regarding the weight gain I don't know about hysterectomy. But that bottle of wine would be really effecting your ability to lose weight. How do you feel about cutting down ? What does your future regarding alchahol look like ? Are you wanting to quit or cut down ? Perhaps set your self some goals. But don't beat yourself up if you don't manage to stick to them. You look amazing and hopefully things will improve for you. Sounds like with your personal life your on track. But there will be a lot of wounds left from those things so perhaps that's why the drinking is like a bandade over those wounds. Are you in therapy at all ? Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
