Percocet is Oxycodone with Acetaminophen(Tylenol). I hope it helps you!

That is what I was given after my RNY to take for pain so I know that it is safe for us to take.

Maybe it's still too soon. Just a guess. Try again later or try having meat different ways. I know the meats you've listed are more dense. If you aren't allergic to shrimp, I've found that for me, that goes down easier than salmon or any other fish. Have you tried ground turkey or chicken? Maybe Scallops?
Red meats are usually harder to digest and are more dense. I rarely eat them. Sometimes if you let them sit in a marinade for a half hour to an hour, that might make it go down a little easier. Even if you have the meat sitting in some gravy, that helps bunches too.

Hi! I’m 10 weeks out from RNY bypass and I can’t eat any meat! I’ve tried chicken, salmon, and beef. I chew very well and take small bite , but it makes me sick every time. Anyone else experience this? They want me to get most of my Protein from food and not shakes but without being able to eat meat my protein choices are limited. Help!

I'm having RNY on 11/13. What are things I should take with me? My surgery is in another town and I will be alone so I just want to make sure I don't forget anything!

Bcbs Federal requires a 2 year history of a bmi above 35 (can't drop below 35 during that time ).
Also a 3 month medically supervised diet (can't drop below 35 Bmi)
Evidence previous attempts have not been successful
Psych evaluation and no smoking.
If you Google fepblue SBP you can get the benefit plan, and then search for obesity.
They're also great about responding to messages when you log into your account.
The surgeon may have other requirements, such as a EGD.
Good luck!

Hi. Do you have to have comorbidities if your BMI is below 40 with FEP BCBS. I meet with my surgeon for consult on the 21st. In the last 2 years I have been between 38 and 41 BMI but no comorbidities. Currently still at 41 do you think I will qualify?

Cambia is an NSAID so you will not be able to take it after surgery. I have had the best success with the Zomig nasal spray at the onset of my Migraines.
