  1. So my goal weight was 165-167 but Ive found I look more sickly like I have a disease so I have been told people were telling me that I was getting worried about you so then I gained a few pounds although my Dr says I should be around 170 safely this is about right I am 5 ft 9 3/4 a tall lady so I feel pretty good but I think I look better with 173 or so and all my size 4 clothes fit without bulges. I want to go through Tummy Tuck and breast lift surgery now though since I do have that sagging skin around the tummy which looks worse although I can hide it with clothes Its annoying...and looks all crumbled and pudgy. I can't wait to do this procedure. I literally had to do a reset when I hit 180, because the weight can come back in a heartbeat if you're not monitoring it closely! I started with yogurts Soups soft foods again and Herbalife Shakes...I am back now to 173 more healthy and not that puffy feeling...I wish the best for all of us struggling with this weight issue.....Our health and you are the most important TO BE YOUR BEST SELF!

  2. I got sleeved In March of 2017, went through a rough patch the first week with lots of nausea, but I recovered after 3 weeks and felt way better. I have gained 10 lbs back but just did a recharge to cleanse body of toxins and sugars I started this week with shakes again and soft foods like yogurt etc...I need to get back to my goal! I look better at 170 since my skin sagged so much after I hit the 160s...thats the issue with me. I would love to take off a month to do a breast lift and Tummy Tuck makeover to tighten that skin back up....But Im loving my body now thin and tone, working out helps out with the saggy skin so as soon as possible like month 2-3 get out there to the gym! Good luck to all the over 50 sleevers...I am 53 and feel and look the best ever! Botox helps too HAHA!

  3. I am 1 year 3 months out, it will stop hurting soon enough the foods that are harder to digest hurt...like salad and meats...but its worth it....I started liquids today to remove sugar cravings...I had a bad weekend of lots of junk food and basically cleansed my body out started fresh. I still continue to get full quick and eat small meals but of course parties and family events you eat more carbs and sweets than usual..Its all about maintenance now, but its a lifelong struggle we all have to deal with...I feel and look great and I am happy I work out and love my new body! You will too! Carry on strong!

  4. Don't give in to self sabotaging yourself...YOU are worthy and beautiful and deserve this surgery! Take all the steps seriously this is your life...no one can make you lose weight once you have surgery after a year...it all changes temptation and sweets and those foods are always going to be around to tempt you...Figure out why you are wanting to hold onto that horrible self and start fresh and let go, pray, take walks , get yourself a friend who can support you through this....you are not alone in a dark corner we are all here for you!!!

  5. It just stops falling out one day... my worst was 3-6 months then it stopped...my hair is super thick on top I had to cut it it was like strands very thin on the length....I went for a shoulder length cut I have super thick curly or wavy hair...I wear clip in pieces for length just for fun but overall don't worry its hair it grows back....!!

  6. YOU CAN DO IT !! Take a walk, go to the beach, people watch, read magazines about health and fitness, because thats gonna be you soon!! I remember I lost 17 lbs before my surgery, then another 7 or 8 after...then it slowed down for a while then again it begins to fall off...congrats on you decision to better health!

  7. Your entire life will change for the better..not only physically but mentally, but also your confidence and this will empower you! trust me...I am working out 3 times a week, I love how my clothes look, size 4 jeans from size 12-14....I am happier full of life...not because I lost weight but because Ive changed as a person....I eat good, exercise, love my body, embrace myself, I get facials, started volunteering, becoming involved, planning trips and getaways....you don't change mentally and spiritually, you have to work on those things now that the NEW you has taken over....Roll with it...embrace it and keep on moving! Love yourself!

  8. So Im down 63 lbs from last year and I've come to a complete halt, playing with 5 lbs up and down to hit my goal weight of 160..Im 5 ft 9 inches

and I am struggling..no weigh loss for a month...just toil and trouble...its always a struggle but I really want to hit the goal, and then be able to see where I would like to land for the rest of my life....What are your thoughts?

  9. Sorry you are going thru this...I know it must be hard...I had a hernia repair and the sleeve and I was really in pain with not being able to move things down but it does get easier...since I had so many troubles it was hard to eat solids for at least 2 months...but now its better with time, just some foods still don't digest properly just chew food thoroughly and slow down...prayers to your recovery....

  10. Hi my fellow loser(weight)...

Im at 4-5 months out have been the same weight for so long it seems almost

6 weeks I only lost 1-2 pounds its been difficult but I am also okay with my weight

where I am now......I rarely exercise for the same reason weak and other muscle/neurological issues I am having...although I am very active. I am anxious to break that 10 lbs loss I had so much easier in the beginning but those times are changing cravings came back although I don't give in they are there...stay focused it will all happen in time...! Good luck!

  11. I told only a few friends and family...and a few more as I am in months 4-5 now and people have noticed the weight loss, but what really scares me is the 52 lbs gone and some people are just looking at me with NO comment? Why are some people like you look great and others act like nothing has transpired...its a HUGE difference but like some people noted they are jealous or they are simply just not in a good place to make a nice motivational comment etc.. Some people don't care i guess, Ive always complimented and motivated others to better health which was my own personal intention to begin with not as much vanity....Lets face it not everyone is going to love your choice but its OUR choice and we made it...Good luck don't let those haters win...embrace your road to successful health choices!

  12. Thanks Sullie for your response that is the way I want to live throughout my life going forward....I purchased those low carb small tortilla wraps and eat those once in a while..I am glad there is no pain in the future and hope to "wrap" up this bread thing soon...thanks for your input.

  13. So a few months ago I read someone posted this website for great extensions, they were not the Secret Extensions by Daisy Fuentes but very similar to these in which they have the string that attaches over your head and its hidden, I am not interested in clip on or weaved they apply more pressure to the follicles whereas these don't while we are going through our Hair loss issues..can anyone help me? Link me up the website and or suggestions...Thanks I would appreciate it...the Struggle is Real..

  14. bread addicts LOL...F*** Bread ....Bread is the enemy....Now that Ive made you laugh...

As Cedric the Entertainer says Bread is the New crack!!

I want to eat bread too just a little every now and then, so I eat a wrap although my Dr suggested no bread, the wrap gets me full in like 3 bites so its not satisfying and it hurts going down...so id rather eat more Protein to get substance...We eat to live remember folks?

My Dr says no to bread until 6 months...so we broke up Bread and I.

Lets make this a non bread day and love our new curves and skinny dresses and hot summer outfits more than bread...one day at a time right?? LOL..enjoy!!

  15. You are correct I have that pain association with food, it hurt going down at first, then it hurts when i eat too much, I really have to pay attention to my bites and chews and eat slowly now. But I noticed the flavor is gone from foods I used to love...I guess its a part of the change which I accept fully. Thanks for your feedback....Good luck on your weight loss voyage..
