  1. its just like comtemplating said the phases we all go through, an i think its natural for us all.we are excited about the surgery, thats what motivated me to lose the 40 pounds before surgery. then as the day aproches we cannot wait to have the surgery.then the post-op phase, and then reality sets in when we hit a plateau.i stayed at 265 for months until my fourth fill then wham. lost 17 pounds within that week.may went for my fourth fill that monday by thursday went from 265 to 251. the next day from 251 to 248.we will get their it just takes time.i am not losing anything by the week.so i stay off the scale.i only weigh in on the day i go for my fills.

  2. i had my surgery in january, lost 19pounds after two weeks. post-op. then it stalled. gained back three.this is my fourth fill. an boy did it kick in. i lost 13 pounds. within that week my appointment was may 26th, by thursday i lost those pounds. i was so scared i went to the doctor that morning because i could not drink liquids.but turn out i was swollen that evening it losen up an i was allright.so just wait on your fills, also continue to exercise thats a big plus.i keep doing everything right but the scale would not move.

  3. hi after my surgery i stayed around 265. i went for my 4th fill may 18th. that monday.the next day it kick in. i was scared because i could not eat.of drink liquids.i went back to the doctor that thursday because i thought i was too tight, but i was just swollen. it went away i was able to drink an eat. i had lost 12 pounds within three days. it scared the (dickens)out of me but he says everything is ok.he always gives me 1/2cc all the time i was fustrated that i was not losing anything. but hang in their you will hit your target.

  4. the same thing happen to me monday, i went in for my fourth fill. i got a band that holds 4cc.he gave me a 1/2 cc as always in my band.it hurt to drink Water i had to take one of two sips it still hurt so thursday i decided to go back an see if he would do a small unfill. but he did not.i think i was swollen. but the same day it went away no more pain, i can swallow fine now i think the band had to readjust.anyways since monday i have droped 12 pounds.i cannot believe it at first i got scared an said no way. the doctor says you are doing good.monday i went in for my fill an weighted at 261 by thursday i droped tp 248. now thats a change.give it some time maybe you are still swollen .of if you eaten anything something might be stuck.like the doctor told me.stay dehydrated over the weekend. sorry for the long post.

  6. you can do it just be motivated. i had to do the six month dietian classes. that was april08 the dietian nurse says i had to prove to the insurance that i could lose the weight. that what motivated me. i started my practice early with the Clear Liquids chicken broth,

    beef broth

    light&fit yogurt

    cottage cheese

    sugarfree jello

she had me on a high protien&low carb dinner but i cut out all the junk.at the last weigh in that was sept08. i had lost 27lbs.then i had to wait three more months before my surgery an during that time i lost another 20lbs.that was 40lbs before surgery. i did not have to do a pre-op.i was 324lbsin the beginning. at surgery i was 285, today i am at 260.an monday i go for my fourth fill. sorry this is so long. but hang in there you can do it.
