  10. Thank you for posting this, I had my surgery on Tuesday and am working hard on the fluids. I feel like I'm on an emotional roller coaster and although I knew this messes with your hormones I didn't expect the crying foe no reason. I find my brain is telling me I'm starving myself as all I'm doing is protein shakes and water. I have to talk myself off that anxiety train foe sure. Thank you foe posting this as it does help me feel better, so glad to know I'm not alone in this.

  20. So far out of pocket foe me has been $500. I don't know what it will be with the insurance.
  21. Angie - I love the calendar!!! Your scheduled day before me!! Aug 1 foe me! Good luck and keep in touch! Love a new sleeve buddy. Can't get enough support
  22. I was also told you can loose weight. They actually encourage it. My office also said they use my starting weight so any weight loss won't count against me.
  23. I read your story,, I'm so sorry you had to go through so many hoops to get here. I hope you continue to make progress and get your scheduled date soon! Please keep in touch. Feel free to send me a message anytime.
  24. Thank you so much seamehyde!! I am scheduled aug 1 and will definitely be picking these up! Thank you foe the tip!! I heard the first 4 days post op suck. Then it will begin to get a little better.
  25. I also did a seminar. They gave us all the information, I needed to contact my ins co make sure this was covered, get a letter from my pcp and meet the surgeon. There office has been great. You will see a dietician, (I saw mine a few times) have a psychologist meeting and then your ready. Research everything you can and just know this is YOUR choice no one else's. this is a commitment we all need to make personally. Know it's scary as anything (my surgery is scheduled aug 1) but I feel ready. Good luck in whatever you choose!
