  1. So I am confused. My plan says no more than 2-5oz of liquid at a time, but I need to get at least 64 ounces of liquids down including my 45-60 grams of Protein.
How do I only have 2 ounces at a time but also meet my goals? Anyone else having this confusion?
Yes, I'm trying my best the only way I can meet goal if I start at 7:00am end at 10:00 pm I don't know what else to do

  2. I had surgery 5 days ago, healing well and have had no issues drinking my liquid diet or getting my Water down. I just discovered if I eat to large a portion of Soup to fast I will feel sick to my stomach and have chest pains. I think this was possible a dumping episode, I ended up lying down for an hour and feel much better now. Lesson learned, small amounts and slow the hell down.
I took 3 big swallow of Water never doing that again. 3 days post op messing up already lol I thought I was going to bring it up thank goodness I didn't. We have to take it slow and steady

  5. I had surgery at 7 AM Monday and was home by 7 PM on Tuesday. I had to consume 48 oz of Clear Liquids before I was allowed to leave, and needed to be able to walk around without any assistance.
Not sure if it makes a difference but I had RNY.
Good luck! Pack a book and headphones, as well as a pair of loose fitting shorts and/or a robe.
    Thank you

  7. My surgery was just last Monday 7/16. What I did was take off week before surgery, get affairs in order, etc bills, cleaning, food (liquid) shopping lol. I also did day trips to pool, beach etc because after surgery and it being summer, I know you cannot go to the pool etc just yet until cleared by physician. So for surgery, my surgeon approves up to two weeks off work which would be 10 sick days for me, so in total- 3 weeks. I do also have fridays off in the summer so when I do return to work, I will have 3 weeks left of 3 day weekends.
Sorry, you had surgery already lol How are you doing?

  9. I must be in la la land, I just saw all your stats. oh boy, I need to go to bed lol you have lost 130 lbs on lap band!! OMG that is incredible. Honestly, you have come such a long way already. I am hoping to be your current weight in a few days [emoji4] I commend you for your determination because not even with WLS is it easy. it HELPS but you still have to apply self control with calorie intake and self discipline to exercise. sigh. Nothing good is every easy right
you said family is on 'stand by'. Does that mean that someone will actually be physically present with you for about 2 weeks? or just on call if you want them to come

My family is on stand by look at scale post you may have gotten confused who is posting [emoji41]

  11. Not really but he said he'd be able to tell how compliant I was. Maybe by the state of my liver? I expect I'll lose weight on my presurgical diet, believe you me, my BMI is high enough that presurgical Weight loss would be a blessing.More worried about me staying healthy and hydrated.[emoji14][emoji188][emoji14]
I understand I think if I would have stayed at my same weight 338 he would cancel my surgery. Now I'm 315 as of this morning 315. I'm trying my best to make sure I shrink my liver for a safety surgery. It's so hard being on this pre op diet. It's more of a mind thing for me. Do you have a surgery date?

  12. I started with this surgical team on June 29, 2018. I met with the nutritionist again today and am down 25.2 pounds so far!

No surgery date yet, but I'm scheduled (tentatively) on August 3, 2018, for the final consultation. And, the other surgeon gave me great news today that I promise I will elaborate on once I get a firm surgery date. B)
Great job! You are developing good eating habits, before WLS!

  13. My official started date of pre op diet was July 13, so far down 21lbs. I'm happy my goal is to lose 10lbs in 6 days. I think I can do it with liquids and a little excercise. My doctor didn't want me to gain weight. Does anybody have a goal to reach in there Pre op diet? Or do your doctor have goal for you?
