    So I have only chosen a select few family members and friends to share this journey with. Out of that select few, only one gave me a hard time. What are you saying to the nay-Sayers and what do you plan to say to those who don't know but are asking questions about your sudden weight loss?


    My mom and daughters know, I just recently told my brother after knowing for 3 months. And a very small handful of friends....the ones who saw me through breast cancer. My longest dearest friend keeps asking me if I'm sure bout surgery...i know she's uncomfortable with it but I could be a dead bestie if I don't have it. My mom is now second guessing my decision by I'm sticking to it.

    I think support from the other people going through this is important, and I want everyone to be able to connect with the people who might be going through this at the same time if you want. So this isn't meant to be more than informative in case you want to message or follow people having surgery in July. If I've made any mistakes I apologize, just message me and I can edit the list [emoji4] There are certainly noticeably busy days!     I first saw my Dr at the end of March and 3 weeks later I was approved. I'm a cancer patient in remission so I've been very active in Drs appts because of related issues. My surgeon is sought after her in SC so I have to wait until 7/19. I wasn't told I needed to lose weight but I know in my heart that I have to lose weight so why not start now. I will have a 2 week liquid diet aka liver reduction prior to surgery so I will lose more.

    Start stalking up on stuff that will see you through. Also, if you're on FB, do yourself a huge favor and join the bariatric groups. They offer so much inspiration, recipes, the dos and donts and make friends with others like us that knows your journey ahead. Wait until you see the before and after pics!!!! I love these groups!!!

    Ive bought a water bottle, Protein Powder, sugar free Jello, pjs, slippers, veggie broth and that's really it. I buy a pack or two of Protein Shakes on every payday to stock up a little bit.
    Oh, I also bought those colorful popsicle things^. I think a lot of the other stuff, I'll pick up afterwards. The Vitamins I bought didn't have enough zinc for my nutritionist's taste, so I have to finish them and buy new ones.





    A lot of my stuff I ordered from Wal-Mart and had it delivered. I hate going in the store unless I have too.

    Embrace your Hair loss it will grow back...take your supplements and Vitamins. To those who feel so vein to cancel your surgery because of your hair, clearly your priorities are in the wrong perspective!!! Do you think cancer patients say I'm not going to take life saving chemo because my hair will come out? I sure didnt! Breast cancer survivor 2 1/2 years.
