I am in the exact same boat and it's depressing me. Sleeved 6/30, had a hard time with shakes the first couple days. Down 10.6 pounds, 4 of which I gained due to the swelling of surgery and now I have no problem at all getting all three Protein Shakes down, I had a cup of broth, 1/2 cottage cheese, no sugar added fudgsicle, and all my Water. No problem at all. I'm starting to wonder if my Dr didn't sleeve me at all [emoji17]

Or if you prefer a kick in your pants/tough love - time to put your big girl panties on and suck it up! [emoji4]
Good luck!

I had one it feels like your heart is going to jump out of your chest. It is way worse than a treadmill or bike test. Just mentally get ready for it. There was a moment there I was sure I was going to die.
A total of $40,000 in cardiac tests, nothing wrong with my heart.
Omg this is my fear!!!

Thank you! I really appreciate it!
Yikes I am so sorry you feel like this . This is why I became part of this website, I need to know what I don't know.
I hope you start feeling better. And good luck with surgery, I am looking forward to seeing how it goes. Hang in there [emoji173]️

Mine was after taking a year long planned trip to Disney world for a week ( in which I was supposed to lose 2 pounds a week for the entire year before and failed) with my whole family and having to "sit out" walking around the lake at Epcot.
My doctor had suggested wls 4 years ago and I was completely against it, but after that trip although I did really well for as heavy as I am, I want to catch up with my niece who is going to be five this year. And I'm engaged and want to do a bucket list of things with my fiancé/soon-to-be husband.
Right now all I want to do is get off all my medications, and not have to use the seatbelt extender on the plane LOL, but that list is endless.

If it's like the one I had it was fine. I know there's another type where you don't walk on the treadmill. Either way you'll be ok. Better to know what's causing the shortness of breath.
I'm allergic to cats and dogs and own two cats that are not going anywhere lol, if I had my inhaler with me I may have been able to at least try it again but with allergy related asthma, the faster I had to go I just couldn't get a full satisfying breath. That put me into panic mode.
But having an isotope injected into my bloodstream has me in a bit of panic mode also. This is the only test that I need to "pass". They have taken ultrasound pics of my heart and all my other organs and everything looks good, and I'm approved on all other tests.

Yes. I had one. They did an ekg and discovered some weird delay. So they put an IV in and I walked on a treadmill. Then after a time I went into a machine where they looked at my heart. None of it hurt.
I wish you well!
Thank you, I know they inject something and that's what scares me.

Yeah had all those to. I'm sure if my body can't handle my doctors would deny me.

Hi everyone, I am new here and so happy I found these forums!
Question-the only thing I am waiting for is to pass my stress test. It's scheduled for June 9th. They had tried to do a normal one on a recumbent bike but I completely lost my breath and couldn't complete it. So now I have to have one medically induced. I'm a little scared of this.
Has anyone here had to do that?

Edited to say my gas doesn't stink, it's just air but so annoying to leave the room more.
