  5. I ended up having Cellulitis. It has left my hands and went to my feet. Both hands ended up swelling terrible. And now it's my feet. They gave me antibiotics so I hope they will work.
  6. I have thought about it. I am not getting enough water.
  7. I am with Kaiser I have to do purée for 4 weeks. Everyone in my class has to. What Kaiser are you with?
  8. I am going to wait. You are right way to soon. I don't want to screw anything up.
  9. Just curious if anyone has had alcohol after surgery and how long after surgery was it? I have a party in a few weeks and I want to have one drink. I will be 4 weeks post op.
  10. I couldn't handle 4 weeks on liquids. I am also 5 foot and started at 218. Had my surgery two weeks ago. Hopefully I will lose as much as you.
  11. I am going to the Dr tonight. It's awful!!
  12. My hands are completely swollen, hands itch non stop, very painful to move fingers. Has anyone had this problem?
  13. I am beyond sick of the shakes!!!

  15. I am with Kaiser and I was on liquids for a week broths were included. And now puréed for 4 weeks. Then it will be soft foods for a month. What state are you in? That's so strange.
  16. I was sleeved 4/18 its been two weeks today. I am doing pretty good. Have lost about 20 pounds. Family says they notice in my face and legs. I notice in my boobs. They are now starting to flatten! I actually feel better as far as not having reflux all the time as I did before surgery. I had a meltdown Saturday and had a good cry. It's true it is very hard to give up an addiction. I think about food constantly and look on Pinterest through out the day looking for recipes when I can eat normal food. Only sleep about 4 hours a night. But I am happy I did this. I do not have any regrets. I lived a very unhealthy life for decades. I am going to be able to feel good. Ride a bike again, play with my grandkids and keep up with my two teenagers that are still at home.
  17. It made me sick this morning. I think I will have to drink it warm.
  18. Oh I am 50 you might want younger people.

  21. I am 5 foot. BMI was 41 but I also have sleep apnea and high blood pressure. You should definitely do it. I am one week out and have lost 11 lbs. feel so much better than before surgery already .
  22. My parents grew up in Inglewood back in the 40's until the mid 60's. Get some sleep if possible..
  23. I had a headache from the pre op liquid diet also. I thought it was probably because I stopped coffee and caffeine cold turkey. I think I looked online for natural ways to get rid of a headache. Look online can't remember now what I did. What state are you in? I am in California and had my surgery through Kaiser Insurance. Just try to sleep and continue to picture yourself healthy and all the wonderful things that are going to happen. I wrote a list and put everything I could think of. Down to shaving my legs and other places also lol. You are almost there!!!! Good luck to you..
  24. Oh what a bummer. I am feeling good. Never had much gas or pain. Of course I am sick of liquids but it is temporary. I am having sleep issues. As in not being able to sleep more than a few hours and then I am wide awake. Keep a positive attitude that you will be doing fine after surgery... oh walk and try to get enough fluids in. I am 50 years old so I am slower in my older age. But I don't feel any regrets and am so happy I did this. Also I haven't had any nausea or have gotten sick to my stomach. You will do great..
