  1. Have any of ya'll tried the Health Master juicer that Montel Williams promotes? I thought of ordering one this weekend, a friend of the DH's has one and she swears by it. I was thinking that I could get all my vegs and fruits in in 1 glass then for my 3 - 1/2 cup meals I could just concentrate on the Protein. I know we are not supposed to drink our calories but the one thing I have yet to figure out is how we can get all the vegs and protein in just eating 3 - 1/2 cup meals a day. It just doesn't seem to calculate for me. Anyway if anyones tried it could you let me know what you think. The thing I liked about it was unlike most juicers it grinds everything up even the pulp, seeds ect. No waste and you get the Fiber that you don't get with other juicers.

  2. Kinda tough to answer this one because everyone is different, It will depend on how much of your breast is breast tissue and how much is fat. The people with a lot of breast tissue sometimes will still need a reduction and those that had a lot of fat in the breast will most likely need a lift because of excess skin just like other parts of your body it will depend on how much elasticity you have in your skin, there are many things that will factor into it like age and so on. I think in general only time will tell.

As far as the bottom I can only speak for my own non exsitant rear. I never had a large bottom but now I have nothing and yes what little is there is a bit saggy (sad to admit) I am wearing a size 5/6 pants and never leave the house without a shapper on (My granddaughter calls them my tall underwear LOL) because of loose skin on my upper belly. But I would rather deal with these issues then feel the way I did when I weighed 267lbs.

  3. Alright girl, Get out of that funk!! You've lost almost 60lbs it may not be what you wanted to lose by now but it's still alot of excess weight you are no longer carring around. Try picking up 60lbs of weights and walking around with it and you will see what a great acomplishment that is. I think you just need to redirect your fustration in a positive form. Don't think about what your doing wrong just try to take one thing a day you can add to your routine to help you in your journey. You have to try to think more positive, remember your worth it.

  4. OH, and congrats on the 3lb loss Charlene. That's a good week. The dessert sounds great, I'm gonna try it this weekend. I've been looking for something new. Fish, Fish, Fish, I swear if you look behind my ears I have gills and almost sure I have chicken feathers comming out my rump. I'm kinda at the point where meat doesn't really appeal to me anymore. Which is crazy because in the past all I ever wanted was Steak, Pork chops Chicken and Fish. Too weird!

  5. I eat crackers from time to time, I love the reduced fat nabs. I'm having kinda of a hard time getting meat in lately, Not because it won't go down but because I'm so blasted sick of fish and chicken. Days like today I'm almost sure if we can have it it's plain and just doesn't taste good. I hate when I feel like this because I have to force myself to eat and when I do it's most likely not the choice I should have made. Oh look I just grabed Pork rinds out of my desk as I sit here writting this. Nope, Not the best choice.

  8. They told me to take your weight and multiply it by 7 and don't go over that number if you want to continue to lose. but everyones Doc is different. So right now i'm at about 1050. Fitday really helps keep track. I thought I was getting plenty and when I started journaling again I found out I was to low hence the stall in weightloss so I had to up my intake and just got to goal.

  9. I hope everyone has a great weekend, I already have and it's just starting. Took my DD's to the spa for mani's and pedi's and a little waxing then to lunch. I luv having a day with my girls, They are way to few and far between. So i'm feeling pretty good today and feel like I lost some weight even if it was in my wallet (lol) But not complaining it was so worth it. And I have hot pink toes as proof!!

  10. I just had a msg yesterday from here that actually turned out to be a yr old, but I am glad to be back on. I am down 80pds and seriously holding at that...but I still have about 40pds left to go - finding it difficult to break thru. But I got a Gazelle at a garage sale for $15 and I am using that.

It has been a very very difficult year for me, my Daddy past a yr ago this July 1st, my marriage broke up this past February and I was sent to an oncologist 6 wks after my Dad passed cuz of some blood tests I had, they have been trying to figure out what is going on with me, very high red blood counts, tired...since May my left booty and leg are numb and in the last 9 days I have been having strange vertigo...not the kind where you turn your head and the world spins, have had that...this is when I lower the upper part of my body, I lose balance. I am going to a consult to have a nerve biopsy done next week, so we will see what that brings about. Since I was a teen, 3 things constantly have come up for me Lupus, MS & Leukemia...what is it about those 3 things makes completely different doctors go after the same thing? In my family tests mean nothing. My Daddy hadnt been well, been taken to the hospital, had numerous, blood tests, mri's, ct scans and NOTHING showed up, nothing...then on May 19th last yr his colon ruptured and when they went in they found 4th stage cancer - talk about a dbl barrel shotgun! If one didnt get him - the other would. How can one have 4th stage cancer an it not show up? He survived the rupture and the cancer took him on July 1st, 3 days before their 50th wedding anniversary...they were going to renew their vows. Devastated family for sure, but he was such a good Daddy, a Godly man, and a father to the fatherless....there were over 350 ppl who came to pay respects, we stood for over 4 hrs without a break, it was astounding. As you can tell I miss him very much. Yes they had been married on the 4th of July, funny thing, my Daddy came here from Holland and became an American citizen on July 1st and then a citizen of heaven on the same date.

Anyway, I didnt mean to get off on a tangent. It has been amazing that I have held at the 80pds this yr. I have found 2 things to be amazing in the last 2 yrs...I have aquired a like for veggies and not ever having a sweet tooth before surgery, I find that am completely addicted to ice cream. My motto has become *obey the tummy* due to the fact that one day it will like what the previous day it completely objected to...so I am not going to eliminate a food, just cuz one day, it didnt like it...why does that happen? It is a funny thing to find I can eat popcorn, yeah like a med size bag, no prob, bob! What is up with that? Tummy pretty consistantly doesnt like pork anymore, which is a shame, cuz I LOVE it. But I do eat alot more fish and veggies and Soup and fruit and Kashi Go Lean oatmeal - love that stuff! Anyone else, seem to have the same issues? I have only had 2 fills, I think that is kinda interesting in light of everyone else...isnt it?

So So sorry for your troubles and am so happy to see you back!!!!

    Thank you so much ladies!!!!!!

  11. WOO HOO! Couldn't wait until Tuesday to share. Got on the scale a day early and almost hit the roof, Yep 150.6 (does that still count as goal with the .6) Eather way it said 150!!! I feel so good about finishing something I started. I know I still have a life long journey ahead of me and that's OK Today I feel FANTASTIC!!!!!!

  12. Blaze - Congrats on your weight loss way to go!!!

kimaly - Any thoughts on the words I can tattoo on my wrist for encourgment or something to remind myself I need to stay focused on my journey

I just can't think of anything really smart right now, But if it were me it would be something simple like:I choose my path or The Choice is Mine, Then I would know each and eveytime it's what I choose.

1day, think about the big pic, 96lbs. you kick ass!

2 good dogs YOU GO GIRL!!!!

  13. I had technical difficulties yesterday. I am back up and running for now. Yep, I gained 2lbs. I ate too much during the 4th. I had stopped journaling since I started back on food. I am back at it now.

Wow, it is the weekend again.....and rain. Yesterday another tropical system moved in. Hopefully, it has moved on.

Okay, butterflies, we want to hear from you. How's it going?

sorry about the 2lbs, It just kills me how some people can eat good most of the time and splurge now and again with no problem and then their's us, each and every little splurge shows up.:)
