Mine didn't specify where to go. However she has privileges in 4 different hospitals and one is closer than the one I actually had surgery at.

I was out of the hospital on Saturday and called on Sunday about the pain pump I came home with and left a vm and they didn't call me back. I called them again at 8am Monday morning.

My book from my surgeon says lean soft moist meats. Then it says fish, poultry or pork. I assumed that moist fork cut roast beef would be ok. When I call my surgeon there is a vm and you leave a message and you don't hear back till the next business day.

Miralax. I take it every other day.

Every now and then I will get a sharp pain in my upper abdomen. Anyone else had this and if so did you find out what it was. It doesn't happen when eating for drinking. It woke me up last night doing it.

No I haven't called her. It hasn't done it since I've been up today.

I'm 4 weeks today. I don't have a gallbladder. Had it removed in 2010. This doesn't feel like that either. It's sharp pains that come in waves and lasted 5 to 10 minutes. I can't wait to feel normal again and not freak over every twinge I get.

I had surgery on 04/13. In 4 weeks out today. This doesn't feel like gas.

My multivitamin from the surgeon makes me nauseous. I have to take 2 a day and have split them up and take them. At different times and with food. Anyone else have a suggestion on how to take it with out feeling ill. It's the only time I feel like barfing.

I'm 4 weeks today post op and I still struggle and can't get the full 64 oz. The most I have gotten was 38 in one day along with what I ate plus 2 protein shakes. It's gotten better as I get further away from my surgery date.

I love Aldi. I get a lot of my groceries there.

I think it's normally the one near your belly button. My surgeon told me that's where she removed mine from.

I had to do a 2 week diet and I surprised the [emoji90] out of myself and didn't cheat. Don't get me wrong it was hard especially when my family was in the next room eating pizza. But I used the premier protein shakes and the syntrax nectar shakes (peach and grape are my faves) and drank lots of broth. I put lemon pepper in the chicken and Italian seasoning in the beef. Had lots of sugar free jello too. Just stick with it. It will go faster than you think. I cried the day before thinking I couldn't do it and I did. You got this!!! This is just a small snapshot in the larger picture.

I have the gassy part still. My son said I burp more than a baby. Lol

I have united and they pay for mine, well I paid a co-pay and I get them through a pharmacy my dr called them into.

Oh and my mood swings are CRAZY.

I am almost 4 weeks post op and still have buyers remorse at times. I really did the first 2 weeks. Now it's mostly because I'm so tired by afternoon and still have some soreness.

That's the only incision I have an issue with now. The others feel fine and Thursday will be my 4 week mark post op. I sneezed Sunday and thought someone stabbed me with a hot poker. I still can't sleep on my sides. I can lay on them a while but have to roll to my back.

How are you feeling??

I'm struggling to get my fluids in. Also I'm wondering what protein shakes everyone drank right after surgery. I have some pure protein but afraid it's too thick. I'm terrified of causing issues with the staples and then having a leak. I've been up walking around trying to get rid of gas but every so often I feel like I have to burp but it doesn't come out and then I have a little pain in my chest. Does anyone else have this issue. I'm full of all kinds of questions I know.

Yeah!! I love eggs too I might just mix it in my eggs too. Lol

I tried eating chicken tortilla soup Saturday. It was a huge no go after 2 bites. I'll be 4 weeks out this Thursday. I hope it's a temp thing. I like my chicken tortilla soup and salsa.

I came home from the hospital weighing more then when I went in. It's probably fluid. Give it time. I lost 23 since surgery on 4/13.
