Mine is May 8th too.

I am on day 2 of my PreOp diet and I guess due to all the vegetables, gas has become a bit of a problem. I have never had any luck with simethicone, any other suggestions? Thanks! Larry

I am really hoping that once I lose some weight that my blood work will improve! Tell me some stats before and after significant weight loss, please! I am interested in BP, Sugar, and cholesterol. Thanks!!!

I have not had my surgery yet, but I am excited about being able to change my body type on my dating profile from Big and Tall to a few extra pounds! Is that weird? lol

Enjoy yourself, learn to love you, find yourself, have fun, try new things, enjoy your friends, take it slow, and live life! Follow your heart but listen to your brain. Best of luck to you!

As each day passes and my surgery grows closer, I think of how my life will change. I wonder what will it be like to eat to live instead of living to eat. What will I do instead of eating? What do I look forward to if I am not eating? I have built my life around eating. Vacation meals will no longer be a focus point. Family gatherings will be for the family instead of the food at the gatherings. Wednesday night Mexican with my daughter will be just for my daughter instead of what I am going to be eating. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be strange. Sorry folks, just thinking out loud! I hope I can do this!
