I got sweatpants and a loose top and just chilled around without a bra. I'd suggest having a two-piece outfit because the nurses often came to check up on my wounds in bed so I was glad I could easily show them my belly hehe! I preferred sweatpants over pjs because I got my surgery done in a public hospital so there were a lot of people in the halls and I felt awkward walking around the whole time in PJs lol but it's ultimately up to you [emoji4] Good luck!!! Hope everything goes well for you

I will definitely be able to sip water throughout the day and I'll make sure to communicate with my teachers regarding my surgery and anything I'd need. Just knowing that I'll be fine in about 8 days is enough to comfort me! Thank you so much!!!

Surgery is on the 9th of April, so in about 24 hours!!! Going through so many mixed feelings about it, fear that I'm going to ruin my life and regret this... I'm only 16 and my BMI is 38 but I'm blessed to have supportive parents and a surgeon who's a family friend, but I'm getting it done in a public hospital here. Not the greatest environment to be in but just praying I won't have a bad experience. Any advice for my first days of recovery? Do you think I'd be able to go back to school in 8 days?

You got this!!! Just focus on finally being able to be healthy and how you're going to look in few months time. This is the best decision you'll ever make in your life, so try to think positively! I haven't gotten my surgery yet, but I'm hopping on that wagon in less than 24 hours haha

Junior here and getting admitted in the hospital in 8 hours for my surgery on Sunday! Doing it during spring break and worried about what people at school will say. Keeping it on the down low, but do you guys think people will catch on that I got surgery? And is 8 days enough for me to get back to school?

I'm about a week post op and I'm wondering when I can start exercising in the gym again? I really want to hop on that train quick! Also, what workouts do you guys suggest at this stage of recovery?
