I have a sit down job, I went back to work the next week. I had surgery on Tuesday went back the following Tuesday. I've had a c-section, abdominal hysterectomy, gall bladder and appendix removed, at different times, so this will compare to having gall bladder removed. It's not the physical pain that is a challenge, it's the mental pain. Just like before you had your first child, women try to tell you how much it will change your life and nothing that anyone said came close to what it really feels like; same with this. Physically it's easier than expected. Mentally harder than dealing with anything I personally have had to do. And I've had quite a life I tell ya!! Seriously though, physical wasn't and isn't the challenge. You can compare physical things to this procedure. And I may be the minority with the mental challenges of wls, and I will say, only being 7 weeks post op, it is worth it.
So glad you found it worth it how are you doing 7 weeks post op? I have also had my Gall bladder removed that was cake so I'm glad to hear this will be like that. What's so hard about it mentally? Just not being able to eat and drink as you please? I'm really excited and know it will be worth it I deff need a change!!

Ok so I had the band back when I was 18 in 2008 I will be going from band to sleeve here in a few months I have 3 children ages 8, 2 and 6 months after I had my last baby I have gained almost 70 LBS I'm miserable and that is with 6cc in my band there is a slip present so I can't wait to get this out and move on with the new me! I love to be active and work out! I hear with the sleeve weight just falls off of you and that's what I'm ready for BYE BYE I want to be comfortable in my own skin again I was to keep up with my beautiful babies and live a fit and active lifestyle! I am currently very depressed embarrassed and mad at myself for gaining so much weight AFTER having a baby but soon I will be able to feel better about myself, or so I hope ️ I want to hear everyone's experience with the band to sleeve. How long is the procedure? how was recovery? How fast did you notice change? And what is the diet like afterwards? IM SO EXCITED!

Ok so I finally got my revision scheduled after my insurance making an approval 3 weeks ago! I was told the only available date they gave open is august 21 how depressing!!! My doctor told me it would only be a couple weeks out from my last appointment!!! How long did everyone wait for surgery after your insurance had approved of the surgery!?! I was SOOOOO ready for it and to be feeling better by the end of summer!!! Now I'm so upset no clothes or bathing suits fit me and I hate to buy more only knowing they won't last long, well hopefully lol
