  1. If we didn't need this we wouldn't be getting this done right! I also weigh 270. Unhealthy, unhappy, and not living a quality of life I deserve. Don't physch yourself out. Everyone is different but there is one thing I am confident in you, me, and everyone who has had this or is getting this done....WE WILL PREVAIL! I had something happen to me like that last night. It made me more aware of why I need this done. Good luck my fellow future sleeve sista!

  2. Getting the lap-band removed and the sleeve done. I will also have a hiatal hernia repaired. Has anyone had all three done in one surgery and if so what was your experience?

Congrats girl! I am sched for may 31 with dr. blackstone!! [emoji322][emoji322][emoji322] what are you doing to prepare?! I'm so excited! [emoji171]

  3. I'm on another forum on FB and I had a friend who was sleeved in March with the same physician she is scarring the hell out of me. Says she been to hospital 6 times dehydration. How she wanted to eat a whole sleeve of Oreos and this is just 3 weeks post op. I have exactly 37 days b4 my surgery I'm anxious

That's terrible to hear! I am in a mind set of not eating that type of food. I've been working hard and cutting out refined sugars little by little. Why would a person do that to their self after going through getting the sleeve? It's a wonderful tool that should not be taken for granted! Sounds like your friend needs to see a doctor and get his/her mind set right regarding food. Sounds like they are eating Oreos in stead of doing what's right for their body and getting that Water in. I hope your friend becomes more aware, successful and feels better!!!! Maybe you're seeing stuff you're not supposed to do. I only hear of complications from people who bring in the same ol'yummy but bad habits back to their selfs. I hope you are stronger than that and prevail! I'm gunna try too! [emoji182]

  4. So much running through my head.... tonight I actually felt a rush of anxiety when I start thinking about it. Sx is scheduled for may 31st. I know this will be an amazing and life changing process but it's like an emotional rollercoaster at times! I'm in nursing school and work at a hospital 3 days a week in radiology. I feel like the need for routine is important and I haven't even gotten that down yet!! [emoji85]
