  1. AT ABOUT 3 MONTHS I STARTED LOSING LOTS AND LOTS OF hair. WHAT WAS WORSE WAS THAT IT WAS IN THE FRONT WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE. I WAS SO FREAKED OUT ABOUT MY Hair loss I WENT TO MY DOCTOR TO SEE WHAT I CAN DO. FIRST THING HE ASKED IS IF I TAKE ALL MY VITAMINS....WELL THAT WAS A NEGATIVE. I WASN'T TAKING THEM ON A REGULAR BASIS BECAUSE THEY'D MAKE ME FEEL SICK. I STARTED TAKING THEM RELIGIOUSLY AND ADDED Biotin. MY HAIR HAS BEEN GROWING OUT NOW, AND I DON'T LOSE AS MUCH HAIR.

***SO THE KEY IS TO MAKE SURE YOU TAKE ALL YOUR Vitamins EVERY SINGLE DAY***

    Hello all!

I'm a little concerned about my progress right now. It's not lack of progress that has me slightly worried, it's how quick the progress is. I want to make sure that something isn't actually wrong. I feel generally ok, a little woozy sometimes, but that's about it.

I had my surgery May 26th. My preop was only one day, but i lost 4 lbs in that day. O_O.

Ever since, I have been losing 2 to 3 lbs A DAY. I am down to 239.2 this morning. Losing 16 lbs in 5 days sounds a little crazy. I am getting in about 70-80g of Protein a day with about 33 to 45 oz of liquid. I was honestly expecting to lose about 2-3 lbs a week with this surgery. Did this happen to anyone else? I am even having regular bowel movements with minimal discomfort (had one on Sunday, Monday and yesterday). I guess I should note too, that I don't walk that much. I have short spurts of energy were i walk for about 15 minutes straight, and the rest of the day is just moving around the house.

IT'S NORMAL. FIRST WEEK I LOST 15LBS. FIRST MONTH I LOST 39 LBS. AFTER THE FIRST MONTH I STARTED SLOWING DOWN TO ABOUT 2-3LBS A WEEK. JUST KEEP UP YOUR LIQUID AND TRY TO WALK AT LEAST 30 MINS.

  3. My husband is doing the same thing as Guru in training's wife. He's starting to walk a lot more now. It is awesome to have the extra support.

Any was there is a reason she's your ex, her not appreciating the weight loss just gives you another reason.

  4. I only had one day of liquid diet prior to surgery.
Once I had my surgery date I went on a legit bender for about a week and a half, essentially made a food bucket list and hit all my favorites.
I know it isn't never again, and I'm not totally sure why I even did it, but I did and I honestly don't regret it. Made me appreciate the discipline and control I am able to exercise now, 2 weeks post op.

Don't worry, I did the same thing. I didn't regret it either.. lol

  5. I haven't been taking it anymore. If I start getting acid reflux, I'll start taking it again. But as of now, I haven't been getting it at all. I hate taking meds that I don't need to. :oEeeek! I also started the puree step early. I did it real slow though. I didn't have any trouble over the weekend, so I'm sticking to it. It was heaven to my taste buds:D. I can't wait to try the soft foods!! hehehe! I have lots of sugar free Jello too.

  6. TODAY IS EXACTLY 2 WEEKS AFTER MY SURGERY. MY DOCTOR STARTED ME ON MY Vitamins & PRILOSEC AND STILL HAS ME ON A FULL liquid diet ( MEANING JUST YOGURT, BROTHS, CREAM OF chicken Soup (STRAINED) CREAM OF MUSHROOM (STRAINED), CREAM OF CELERY (STRAINED), Protein Shakes, sugar free Jello, SUGAR FREE POPSICLES, SUGAR FREE PUDDING)

I DISLIKE THE liquid DIET!! I'M SO GROSSED OUT BY EVERYTHING NOW. I NEED TO FIND DIFFERENT Soups TO HAVE, BECAUSE ALL THIS SWEET STUFF ( JELLO, POPSICLES, pudding, YOGURT, Protein SHAKES) IS ALREADY MAKING ME SICK :65_mask: I CAN'T WAIT TO START THE PUREE STEP.

I DO FEEL LIKE I'M STARTING TO HAVE MORE ENERGY THOUGH. THE FIRST WEEK I FELT KIND OF WEAK. THE TAPE ON MY INCISSIONS ARE BARELY STARTING TO FALL OFF ( THEY TOLD ME NOT TO TAKE THEM OFF, THAT THEY NEED TO FALL OFF ON THEIR OWN). THIS WEEK I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY MOVE BACK INTO MY ROOM ( I WAS sleeping ON THE COUCH, IT WAS SO MUCH EASIER THEN MY BED). I STILL sleep ON MY SIDE, WHICH IS TOURTURE BECAUSE I'M A STOMACH SLEEPER & CAN'T MOVE TOO MUCH ON THE BED.

I'VE ALREADY LOST 26LBS AND 2 PANT SIZES. I'M BARELY NOW STARTING TO NOTICE IT ON MY FACE AND MY WAIST. I WISH I WOULD'VE MEASURED MY WAIST BEFORE. ANY WHO, I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET MY GOAL WEIGHT! I WILL POST NEXT WEEK :)
