vsg_sam907 reacted to DaleCruse in Sleeved march 8th almost at goal weight
Apparently it's normal for you. As long as you & your surgical team think your progress is normal, then it's normal. Congratulations!

vsg_sam907 reacted to Sajijoma in 5 weeks post op no problem eating approved foods
Did you have the sleeve or Rny? For RNY that would be way too much for 5wks out. I wasn't eating more than 1/4c of anything for the first 6 months. Regardless of which surgery, eating fast is not your friend. It compromises your new stomach and can lead to overeating down the road. Take small bites and chew them thoroughly even when it's mushy foods. Take the time to taste it all and take a full minute between bites. That's the recipe for long term success.

vsg_sam907 reacted to kristenmh in So, how much did you REALLY walk each day the first week?
all told, i likely walked about 30 minutes a day the first week -- but in 10 minute increments. my first week was so much harder than I had expected it to be.
I'm 12 days out now and have walked for about 45 minutes each of the last three days. My energy has come back and then some -- not where I would have expected myself to be this time last week.

vsg_sam907 got a reaction from vsgamh in Has anyone experienced this???
I was sleeved on march 13 and I'm also at 6lbs and scale isn't moving... I lost 10lbs pre op and have been sitting at 6 lbs post op. I've been drinking very little since I can't handle the Protein Shakes too much and feel I should have lost more pounds by know. Hoping next week will be better
