I start my diet before I go to my pre-op my apptiontment on April 10 and start my diet April 3 surgery April 17

It is not all about loosing weight your liver have be small also or surgery will be much hard on you

That was my thought was the gastric bypass cost more, they will make more money. My Pcp told me they will most likely try to push the bypass but it's my decision. I'm going to call him today and let him know what I was told.

I posted this somewhere else but I don't believe it is in this forum...My surgery date is April 5th!!!!! EXCITED, NERVOUS, AND EXCITED SOME MORE!!!!!
Two week liquid pre-op diet...whew...on day #7 with 7 more days to go and then the surgery next Wednesday!!!!!

I'm going with the sleeve and hope I will come off my high blood pressure pills in time I don't wanted the bypass

Yes it is and my cousin she had the bypass and she was hospital longer then they said she would then when she came home a week later she was back in the hospital for about a month now some people do fine but it is to mich like you said so that is why I'm sticking to the sleeve

I use plant based as well. I'm looking to add Bone Broth for my Protein even though it's not plant based. I want different tastes. Sometimes I'm tired of the sweet. Savory would be good.

I'm just making change now I start last month and try something new I have been on plant base protein
