Tomorrow is the day!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe its really here, it's been such a long road from last August when I went for my first appointment with the surgeon. Been looking at before and after pics, reading comments to keep the nerves in the back of my mind and the joy right up in the front where it belongs!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck to all my April sleeve buddies. :772_blue_heart:

2AM - just woke up. I had my surgery yesterday morning. I was so groggy afterwards I couldn't really wake up until around 4:00 PM. Sipping on Water, walking the halls. Received an iv of something similar to Tylenol around 11 for pain. Pain really wasn't that bad but I figured it would help me sleep comfortably. Hope all my April 3 surgery buddies are doing well!

I'm glad you are doing ok I pray that you have speedy recovery

Hey! Good luck to you too. Getting so close.

Yes, I started my liver shrinkage diet on Friday. It's not purely liquids, I'm allowed some chicken or fish, fruit and vegetables. The rest is Soup and shakes. I think the liquid diet is more common in the US, I'm in the UK. Not sure why they differ. How are you finding it?

I'm in Jacksonville , Florida and I'm on the same diet for two weeks and day before surgery that is when I'm on clear luiqud only thing we can't eat fruits but everything else can eat

Very true - this is a tool. You still have to learn what to eat, how to prepare it, when to eat it, the right combinations, etc.

Anybody that says this is the easy way out is not connected. Anybody that says it's all about the surgery needs more education.

My perspective do this for you and you alone. No kids, no spouse, no family or friends. Now if they all support you that is great but this has to be a personal commitment to change your life. "SAVE YOUR LIFE"

Tell or don't tell - but get thick skin so the comments of others become irrelevant because you are changing your life!!! For the better!!

    So true
