that is really kind of you both, thank you so much. the incision thats largest is the side thats hurting, im guessing thats where he took the stomach out.. it's very bruised.

I am about 5 days post op and still in a lot of pain. Right now I am wishing I didnt do this I hope it gets easier.

Usually losing a specific number is your surgeon's requirements, not insurance's. Not always the case, just generally.

Sounds like theyre referring to cosmetic surgery. You can call the 1800 number on the back of your card and ask for details, though.

My surgery was 3/29. I am in a lot of pain, actually. I hope you can get some rest.

3 days post op; never had to complete a sleep study.

I have to take my Norco every 4 hours as well. My pain is a little better today but I'm pretty upset that my pain is so bad and most people aren't having pain at all. I just don't know wth is going on! This heartburn came out of nowhere, I was thinking maybe I dodged that but now, definitely not. My pain level is at like a 4 today. I wish I could fast forward into next week where hopefully I wont have pain. I haven't tried any Premier Protein yet and I'm starting to worry that I'm not getting enough good stuff in. I did drink some 1% milk and lots of water, 2 popsicles.. couldn't really handle broth. Hope you're starting to feel better!

Did they say why they're making you do Heparin injections? They gave me one in the hospital but didn't send me home with any..

My surgeon said 8 months minimum, a year is ideal.

You gotta keep on walking girl! So, shopping is therapy to me lol and my husband just had the idea we run to the store to walk around so I have a basket to lean on, too. Try walking about somewhere you enjoy. You can't heal without walking so hang in there.

I would take 3 at the least. I took 2 and I work in the ER as front office.. so I have a desk job with no lifting.

This is the exact pain I've been having. No gas pains, I've just been having pains getting up or down or adjusting and it's only on the side where my largest incision is. I'm 2 days post op and it was easily a 10 until today, it's about a 6.

I cant wait until next month when I can truly compare this lol. Bank of America now does a budget thing to show you what you spend monthly on what and it said we spend on average $650 a month on fast food and going out (not groceries included) and that's only one of our bank accounts. We used to go out 4 times or so a week, not including fast food. I know I'll be saving. Can't wait to see how much.

I had nausea up to 2 days post op.

Had surgery a day after you and I'm going through the same thing. When I drink I kind of have a bit of heartburn feeling.
