  1. Oh...!!!! I'm glad I'm not alone on this! I've been craving salty things so I've had chips not going to lie they were so delicious BUT I know my journey is a work in progress and I too beat myself up because I'm at a stall for last two months well I lost 3 pounds. Total 95 pounds total but I was sleeved 11/15/16 and lost 43 pounds before surgery then 52 since 11/15/16. Today is 5/10/17. I'm starting to feel depressed like I'm failing not able to lose 10/20 pounds in a month. I believe I need to go to a group to talk things out plus I noticed my lose skin and I dislike it so much. I'm happy I had surgery because I'm no longer diabetic or have high blood pressure. I went from size 20/22 to size 10/12 and still I don't like what I see without clothes. I can't sleep thru the night now I think my honeymoon with my weight lose it over [emoji853]

  2. I was wondering if anyone uses my fitness pal? I had the gastric sleeve on Tuesday so I'm 4 days post op. I would like to have some people to follow so I can have good examples of what others are doing. I'm still on liquids now, but would like some support for the future.

    I use myfitnesspal faithfully

  3. I have fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndrome along with dealing with depression and anxiety because of how my pain was BUT changing my eating habits and losing weight then having sleeve surgery has helped my pain. I can tolerate it much better I do have my bad days but their not weeks or months thank Goodness

  4. I'm 5 months out and I have to take stool softener with laxative in it every night. At first, Constipation was a big problem right after surgery so I took Smooth Move tea but not every night then tried 2-3 stool softeners but I was still feeling bloated and constipated so my doctor recommended stool softener with laxative now and I'm finally going! If that stops working I'll get a prescription to help. I drink 64-80 oz of Water a day and eat my Protein & veggies

  5. I too have fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndrome. I'm 49 and I got my sleeve 11-15-16. I have lost 51.7 after surgery. I know the body pain but I did notice when I started this journey end of July 2016 I stopped drinking Diet Coke, eating Oreos, chips, pizza and sour cream. I changed the why I thought about food and I eat 800-1000 calories a day. I eat Greek yogurt but no bread. I know the feeling of depression but walking has help my mind and mood and now I love going to the gym. If my body aches I rest! We are all human just take this one day at a time. I had to jump start my weight lost by doing two Day liquid diet and I feel pretty good. I've lost total of 94.7 pounds so far. I look at it this way sometimes we have to change or fine tune things even if it's difficult or feels weird doing it. Keep going forward

  6. MSer07 don't feel bad!!! This is what this is for to SUPPORT & MOTIVATE one another!!!! I too ate a small chocolate egg at Easter and my weight has stalled and I felt my cravings coming back, the struggle is REAL! What I did is do two days of liquid diet and it helped me, I didn't feel hungry at all and no headaches. I lost 3 pounds and now I feel I'm back on track. I had my sleeve done 11/15/16, I lost 43 before surgery and 51.7 after surgery. I was looking up different things and on here I found that if we lessen our carbs and increase our Protein that will surely help. Remember your not alone

  7. I too was at a stall in weight lost. I had lost 91.6 pounds total. I had my sleeve done 11/15/16 and since then I lost 43 before surgery and 48.6 after sleeve. I then noticed I was getting up at night wanting to snack so I would eat Greek yogurt or drink water! I was exercising like crazy. What I did was do two days of liquid diet to try and jump start my weight list and eliminate my cravings and its helped. I lost 3 pounds this week. I'm going to watch my carb intake from day forward. I'm going to try and keep it 35-30 & under a day!!!! I hope this works. Thank you folks for the advice.

  8. The struggle is real!!!! I know all our WLS journeys are different. I feel that because Mama June is on TV surgery for excess skin etc was given to her to soon, money talks...... I've been asked about her WLS from others around me and I just hope others to think this is the easy way out, it's the last option! I had my sleeve done 11/15/16 and I've lost total of 91.6 pounds so far. I hope she understands it has a lot to do with how we think about food. I still struggle when I see folks eating Cookies or a cupcake but I talk to myself regarding the consequences of eating anything like that! I wish her the best with her journey I don't want anyone to fail. I've told others walk in my shoes then we can talk......

  9. When I had my sleeve in November 2016 I was in pain and had to stay two days in hospital because my esophagus was swollen & I couldn't even keep Water down the first day. I was in pain for a whole week I took my liquid pain medication and i was pain free after that. This is the beginning of your new awesome journey so be excited every day that you made the right choice for your health
