Which “On the Go” Helpers Do You Use?
Just saw Inspire has a bottle with 3 compartments: one for water, one for protein powder, and a sectioned one for supplements, i.e., vitamins, meds. Cost is $14.99. I'm pre op, but wondering if this would be a good choice to buy; or are there others I should consider.

New BariatricPal Tracking App! What Features Do You Want?
I agree with so many of the suggestions provided. Personally, I use LoseIt and like it, but it's not specific to bariatric tracking. It has a seaech for foods in general; once you've developed a shake recipe, for example, you can go to your favorites and find it. If youre searching for a brand name, you can look in Supermarkets or Restaurants to find it. New ap needs a way to update foods and menus as changes are made. I'm still pre op, but want ways to be successful: when to take vitamins, medications with a reminder signal. Place to record weight, measurements with a graph to see visual. Basically I would say to use what LoseIt has, improve upon it, and make it bariatric specific. Thanks for asking for our input[emoji4]

Barium Swallow
Just had this done today, and Dr found I have a hiatal hernia. Will this be a problem with Sleeve surgery, or will Dr just fix that at the same time?

The only things I have remaining are EGD and barium swallow, and those will be completed by the the end of May. I meet with surgeon mid-June, and surgery is scheduled for Aug. 2. Anyone else in a similar situation?

I'm pre-op. I just made cloud bread today and I like it. Since it has cream cheese in it, is it allowed post-op?
