Which “On the Go” Helpers Do You Use?

After weight loss surgery, you may need to eat three to six small meals and snacks per day, plus drink at least 64 ounces of fluids at times separate from your meals. Add your nearly constant eating and drinking to a busy lifestyle, and you probably have quite a few strategies for hitting your nutrition and fluid needs!

Which meal and snack helpers do you use? Do you live off of protein bars and shake powders? Do you use pre-packaged salads and pre-cut veggies? Do you take advantage of ready-to-eat products such as rotisserie chicken, yogurt, and string cheese?

Also, what are your indispensable helpers for taking your food and drinks everywhere with you? Do you have a favorite water bottle, protein blender, and set of containers? What other tricks do you have for making on-the-go weight loss easier? Share here!

I live off of fiber bars. I am uncomfortable if I haven't had a poop. I may not eat a lot but it can pile up. I only drink protein drinks when I work out. I do switch out water bottles. It is boring to drink water out of plain water bottles. Even 6 years out I still have struggles.

Just saw Inspire has a bottle with 3 compartments: one for water, one for protein powder, and a sectioned one for supplements, i.e., vitamins, meds. Cost is $14.99. I'm pre op, but wondering if this would be a good choice to buy; or are there others I should consider.
